Hi all,

Just a quick question about those that have the Briley hand-guard. I installed mine and initially noticed the barrel was about an eighth of an inch from being fully seated. I figured out that in order for the guard to work and the barrel to be seated fully, one would need to remove parts 106-108. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/benelli-m4/parts.html

I did that and now the guard is rock solid and the barrel is seated fully. Anyone see anything wrong with this? Also, I never received any mounting instructions from Briley, so not sure if they mention this somewhere.

Thanks,

Steve

Anyone have the width of the handguard both vertically and horizontally? Interested in the Vara Safety RACT safe but the briley may be too thick

can’t help u with the dimensions of the briley handguard as i run oem handguards but i would think that having the charging handle installed (regardless of brand) would be your wide point especially if u run a light/side saddle on the opposite side as i do.

Mine is 2 inches wide by 3 inches high. I measured from the front of the handguard. This may not be exact, but that is roughly the measurement. I used an old tape measure and it is hard to line it up exactly without taking the handguard off, but this should be sufficient.

This shotgun “safe” stages the gun on your wall and there is a locking collar that goes around your hand guard.

Looks like it may work

I saw in a video that they had to buy expensive $80 3 piece washers from the dreaded fft that replaced 106-108 for it to fit tightly. Is the fix as simple as removing them?

Not unless you have the LE version. I thought I had to do that too and spent 80 bucks on those stupid washers and ended up finding out I did not need them. The Briley will drop right in with no issues. That was my experience at least.

If the Briley is a bit too thick, I'll be posting a like-new and complete Agency Arms M4 MLOK Rail for sale this weekend after our field training tonight/tomorrow morning.20240622_000922.thumb.jpg.08ffd806201dfb2bee96a0dbace7a3cb.jpg

Stay tuned...

Meanwhile, this rack is very interesting and is now on my short list. THX
