stevevh Posted April 6, 2022 Posted April 6, 2022 Hi all, Just a quick question about those that have the Briley hand-guard. I installed mine and initially noticed the barrel was about an eighth of an inch from being fully seated. I figured out that in order for the guard to work and the barrel to be seated fully, one would need to remove parts 106-108. https://www.midwestgunworks.com/benelli-m4/parts.html I did that and now the guard is rock solid and the barrel is seated fully. Anyone see anything wrong with this? Also, I never received any mounting instructions from Briley, so not sure if they mention this somewhere. Thanks, Steve 1 Quote
Bimanari Posted June 20, 2024 Posted June 20, 2024 Anyone have the width of the handguard both vertically and horizontally? Interested in the Vara Safety RACT safe but the briley may be too thick Quote

This may not be exact, but that is roughly the measurement. I used an old tape measure and it is hard to line it up exactly without taking the handguard off, but this should be sufficient. 1 Quote

This shotgun “safe” stages the gun on your wall and there is a locking collar that goes around your hand guard. 8 hours ago, John Doe said: Mine is 2 inches wide by 3 inches high. Thanks, Steve I saw in a video that they had to buy expensive $80 3 piece washers from the dreaded fft that replaced 106-108 for it to fit tightly. Is the fix as simple as removing them? Quote

The Briley will drop right in with no issues. That was my experience at least. 1 Quote
AIRB0RNE6176 Posted June 22, 2024 Posted June 22, 2024 If the Briley is a bit too thick, I'll be posting a like-new and complete Agency Arms M4 MLOK Rail for sale this weekend after our field training tonight/tomorrow morning. Stay tuned... Meanwhile, this rack is very interesting and is now on my short list. THX 1 Quote
