Best of the Best: Red Dot Optic for M4 Tactical

Recommended Posts

Posted

I have just purchased an M4 H2O and am looking for a best in class red dot optic. The M4 will be utilized for both home defense and 3-Gun. I am not concerned with price or durability.

I am very curious about those red dots that were ultimately switched out for a better model/brand.

Thank you in advance from communist CA.

I'm using a vortex venom. Very cost effective. I use one on my mp5 and my SBR also. Actually I switched to aimpoint on my SBR for using with mods. I put mine on a qd mount, on top of the factory rail. It's more comfortable for me.

That's what I did. The jury is still out for me though, not on the setup but shotgun dots in general.

"3-Gun"?   Actual three gun, or just sort of semi informal stuff. Equipment wise I'd fear getting eaten alive in Open, especially if it happens to be that your shotgun dot is the only thing putting you there.

It would be great if you could provide photos of your mp5 and SBR with vortex venoms on them ,

Thanks.

These are the only 2 pics I have on my phone. I'll try to remember to take some more this coming week

I have 1000s of rounds on my rmr /m4 with no issues but if I were going for the best RDS the Aimpoint T-2 / M5 is kingA016011C-1AF5-43B6-A708-3ED5913E6112.thumb.jpeg.e21f21c5928e2a2fb2ae6e758fa9f0cb.jpeg
