CH/QuakerBoyProstaff
What is your favorite type or brand of boot to wear hunting during the EARLY seasons in Fall like dove, archery, etc?
TMAC
Irish Setters, I wear them right up until everything freezes. Gortex and 400 of Thinsulate is perfect for me. 4 years old, lots of miles, and no leaks.

splashtx556ftw
man, that leaving me with a bad visual. i work in the oilfield, i found some boots that i love. they are made by Keith. they have 10" uppers, water proof, composite toe,[ansi approved] makes them very light. 800grams of thinsulate.they are lace ups, but have a zipper on the sides for easy on and easy off. $49.00 @ wally world. i will be completly honest with you though. i wear them every day , i walk around in saltwater, mud, and oil. the first pair i had only lasted about 16 months. but i see a lot of my co-workers spending $140.00- 160.00 bucks on boots that last about 2yrs. i feel like im coming out ahead. acmf74
I picked up a pair of Field And Stream Swamp Stalker 1000 Hunting Boots in Mossy Oak. They are about 17" high and very warm. They also felt very comfortable after a few miles of walking.
