Got an email today from Omaha Outdoors with a new 1301 from Beretta (owns Benelli fwiw) ODG and FDE Beautiful, but pricey at $2450

Any ETA when these will be available for purchase?

I've shot bird, buck and slugs through my Benelli M4 which I believe comes with a modified choke installed.

The ding you showed me would not simply "stop", if it were a result of bolt meets ejector housing during proper function. I think it was a red herring, and properly cleaning/lubing/knocking down some high spots in the ano/phos are what met with success. Regardless, she is working right, now!

Review your ejector housing. I bet it does not show an ounce more damage. I remain thinking this was not the cause.

The test today went flawlessly. 100 rounds with 0 issues whatever. Looks like the cleaning, lubing and the manual cycling did the trick.

I got a refund on the original handle from FFT awhile back. Just thought I would throw that out there. Still enjoying the privately made one.

Just curious, are you pushed past the detent in the bolt handle? You can over insert the handles since there isn’t a stop present that limits the depth. When you rotate the handle, you should feel it engage and disengage the three notches on the handle.

I recall a thread about this already. FFT refused to admit anything was wrong.

This will sound like sacrilege; but I like the new TTI bolt handle better than the Carriercomp one I had. It’s cheap and doesn’t have knurling that can chew up you hand if you’re moving fast. It’s easy to get. I like how the TTI one now locks into place and doesn’t rotate, it’s actually difficult to remove from the bolt. The serrations are biased on certain sides to only provide traction where it’s beneficial. Since the handle is fixed in orientation, it always remains the same.
