  1. I’ve never done a BF sale, but maybe this year, I’m kinda a one man shop and fairly small. But it’s on my mind this year so ya never know!

  2. Over the past several years I have found many more Benelli with bolt heads that are full of debries - causing light strikes. This is one of many causes of the issue. Here is a series of photo's that documents the issue fairly well and how to eliminate this as a cause of light strikes. This could lead to better insights when deep cleaning your Benelli at the end of the year as well.

  3. Thanks @RxArms....good to know! I've got it to where it is much smoother to adjust from 3rd (fully out) to 2nd (middle) position. However, going from 2nd to all the way in and then back out remains very tight. Hoping with some wear it will smooth out some. BTW, I've been eying several goodies from you.....QD sling, bolt release tab and heat shield (when back in stock)! How about some Black Friday action??!! 😁

  4. Yeah mine was really tight when I first got it, and was still tight when I replaced it with a 6-pos tube. I oiled it and worked it back and forth a while and it loosened up.

  5. I had the same issue . I removed the stock and put some oil on the tube .. it loosened up and made it easier to go from one position to another . It’s not as smooth as an AR stock , but made it easier to move back and forth .

  6. Correct. When you look down the barrel of the current production M4, you will see two ports. One port for each ARGO plug. On the 4 port models, each ARGO plug had two ports about half an inch from each other. I haven’t seen one of these 4 port barrels in years. My burnt bronze M4 came with one when I bought it in 2004. It was the first release of the 11703 models with the neutered receiver extension. Within the first outing, I snapped a piston in half firing 2 3/4 buckshot. Took Benelli a month or more to send me a new piston after mailing them the broken one. Then for another 7000 rounds, the shotgun performed okay until I noticed that the bolt carrier was getting stuck when pulled to the rear of the receiver. Closer inspection found that the face of the bolt carrier was mushroomed where the pistons make contact. The carrier was so badly deformed that it was binding inside the receiver. The 4 port barrel was battering the carrier to death. Trip back to Benelli at this point at my expense. Benelli replaced the entire bolt carrier group, barrel assembly, pistons, ARGO plugs, and handguards with 11707 model parts. Now at 17,000 rounds, no more issues have been encountered.
