  1. Saviour has some great cases that are well made. I have a few and a LOT of my friends purchased them after seeing the quality of mine. They come in a variety of sizes and colors and are capable of holding multiple firearms and accessories if desired.

  2. Snap caps are fine. Use Lyman A- Zoom aluminum high quality 12 ga. Why ? store a snap cap in the chamber?

  3. We saw a lot of quality control issues come out of Benelli during the Covid era. All of the extractors I looked at have a pretty hard 90* corner on both sides with maybe a light chamfer to knock the edge down. My concern is the damage is deeper than the extractor. Like the wear on the extractor is the symptom of something else being out of spec. Could be the bolt head. Could be the bolt carrier. Could even be the barrel assembly but less likely. Without being able to hot swap parts and live firing it, you’ll just be guessing. So if Benelli will warranty it, you’d be best served going that route.

  4. Looking at your photographs, the extractor claw looks to be rounded over on one side of the claw, is this accurate? If so, then this may be the source of your issue. Replacing the extractor claw can be difficult. The pin is almost a blind pin. I say almost since you can access the side you need to tap from, but you essentially need a curved punch. Punches don't like curving and generally break making it a consumable tool. If you need help with this, I can take care of it for you if you like.

  5. I don’t recommend a cerakote on the inside, you can tape off the openings and just paint the outside of the receiver. This will ensure smooth operation on the inside. I don’t have any experience with NT7+. But from what I understand it has high lubricity properties which is what you would want if coating the inside also. .0002 thickness is practically nothing. Benelli designed the M4 to operate with dust and garbage in the receiver. I can attest to this as my M4 is completely filthy inside and it still runs like a champ. So I doubt .0002 will have any effect at all on the operation of the gun. In general, if you are doing just a black paint job, get the painter to tape off the inside of the reciever and they can just paint the outside, a good shop will be familiar with this practice.

  6. You don’t need a new spring. The same OEM spring used in the 5 round tube is the same one used in the 7 round tube.

The springs from Wolff are way cheaper & if you're LE they'll give you a discount. Don't get me wrong during the initial wave of covid I got desperate & bought almost all my upgrades from FFT. A few hours ago I bought the Rxarms titanium charging handle instead of the FFT, I like the latter a lot but he ridiculously over priced his products.
