  1. It just cycles slower on one piston. Dunno about two broken pistons - I doubt there's enough force to unlock the bolt. Perhaps someone else has some experience with that. Save yourself some grief with spares and buy my new Benelli M1014 (fixed choke) barrel assembly.

  2. On page 65 of the USMC TM 10698A-10/1 it states "it is recommended that the iron sights of the combat shotgun be zeroed at a range of 100 meters with a single projectile (slug) ammunition and 25 meters using multiple projectile (00 or 000 buckshot, etc.). It is also recommended that three-round groups be fired prior to making adjustments when zeroing with slugs.”

  3. I know the collapsible stocks that came with the original 2500 special edition M1014's all had the philips head screws. I'm not sure at what point after that they transitioned to the allen heads.

  4. A mil surp M-240 sling is what I use. Meant for a much heavier gun so it's well padded, around $20 and works great with a pair of QD sling mounts. Available in any color you want, as long as it's black.

  5. I zero at 50 yards using slug. I do not believe that a 50, 25, or 100 yard zero would impact the kind of thing a shotgun is likely to be used for when it comes to violence, unless you are hunting, and then your hunting AO will dictate distance so you wouldn't be asking. (Yes, I have work to do)
