  7. good to hear from ya old flame red,,your one of the originals around,,we're dinasours now compared to these new guys,,you are the one who led the charge in recoil tube refinement,,and I'm still a pleased as the day I had mine done,,in those days Coogan was close to me ,,now he's in another land,,yes I also agree that machining the tube would be wiser than trying to take it off,,in our day back in 04 there where no other options,,about a year ago I helped my other M1014 brother in replacing the recoil tube and it was alot of time heat and some near disastourus close calls,,,machining is the way to go. seeya
  8. wow,,heres what I'm gonna tell ya,its late so listen,Congrats on your wise purchase,,take it apart,,clean it lube it,,,go have fun and shoot it,,post some pics of your new baby,,limited editions are always better than the run of the mill,,your barrel should have a fixed choke on the end of it,not interchagable,, post pics,, lets see some of the accessories too,,like box ,manual,,end of your barrel etc.Now go have some fun with it,,thats what its for.
  9. shifting gears,,bolt group,,spring replacement,check pm

    Benelli M1-121

  14. by the way,,thankyou for the pics, its a beautiful Benelli,,mine used to be wood,,I upgraded to plastic,
  15. most 121 m1s come with the tiny bolt release button as most Benellis do,,yours has the after market product ,,looks like a choate machine job,,the proceedure above can only be excecuted with a larger button such as ours so that part of the job is done,,now get a practicing.
  16. your carrier release button does a couple of things,,it will allow access to the tube via the lifter if you push it in and back ,,it will release the shell carrier and allow shells into the tube ,,it acts as a shell release from the tube,,if the buttton is slapped foward and up and it will release a shell from the mag tube onto the lifter then rack the bolt and your ready for action,,, sof magazine 8-83 tells it about the same way but with pics,,plus the owners manual tells it another way,,so get some dummmy shells and work with it till you find a proper drill for yourself,,
  17. greetings my Benelli brother,,still the same scene,,,,catch up withya after work today,,gotta dig up the info for you and bluegoose,,,,,same style of Benelli,,very cool older Benellis,,seeya
  18. check you pm box
  19. hey lefty,,me too lol
  20. page 34,,pre 85 manual
  21. lets see a pic of the new Benelli,,I'm totally jelly
  22. look at your manual or view the exploded view on e-gun parts,,,maybe your firring pin spring,,sounds like your pintail doesn't have a dissconnector,,some older Benellis don't either,,my 121 m1 does and it blew a hole in the wall one night a while live fire demonstration and it has a dissconector,,,those pintails are pre 85 Benelli clones which they inherit the same mechanical faults,,it even says it in there manuals of the day,,so go over all the easy checks before tearing out the recoil tube,,bottom line is these older semi autos will keep you on your toes so to speak.
  23. what does dc121 standfor???intresting handle,,anyways,,for parts try e-gun parts,or your basic goole search,,now for a mag extension,,that gets tricky,,cause your extenteded threads may not be like your reciever threads,,so heating the tube and finding out the threads won't work is risky to say the least,,barrel ring and relocation have to be taken into cosideration.
