Tuning the Benelli M4 (More Reliability with light Loads)
M1014 replied to SolidShooting's topic in Benelli
dear Oliver,,breakin the M4 first with 100 or so heavy loads,,then it will perform with anything,,gotta read your manual,,forget all those aftermarket mods,,,maybe on M1s but never a Benelli gas gun [ 05-03-2006, 04:51 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ] -
okay,I'm done thinking,,,First,,,check the magazine tube,,look it over,,worn or binding or both spring,,debri ,,burrs,,condition and type of ammo,,wipe out that tube inside,,get a lite in there,,look at the tube,,bent ,,not screwed in all the way,,,get back with us,,and do tell,,seeya
-
hhhhmmmmmmmmm let me think about it by the way,,,the 1201 FP is way cool [ 05-03-2006, 04:18 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]

oohhhhh you had some Qs,,sorry got carried away,,,,,first congrats on your Benelli purchase,,fine choice second:Wolf ammo makes a great 00buck round and affordable too and last but not least,,the choke preffered is modified, why????????because its the middle of the road choke,,handles either buckshot or sluggggers well,,, [ 05-02-2006, 04:25 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]

000buck, 2-3/4,,,Full Power,,none of this sissy low recoil sh*t,,,you want to stop the problem Now,because there will be no time to worry about overpenetration and recoil and all that other nonsense they say,,adrenaline will take care of recoil [ 05-07-2006, 03:35 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]

the stock is for the gun,,,its an aftermarket e-bay find,,the forend is from an M1 super 90,,it takes a little shaving in the rear,,i used my wooden forend as a template,,you might have to fool with the friction ring or spacer rings,,definitly worth the time an effort
-
hey deasmuth,,,,the choke tubes are double threaded,,,top thread for the flash suppressor,,the bottom thread for the barrel,,it works really neat [ 04-30-2006, 03:52 PM: Message edited by: M1014 ]
