    WTT/WTB chokes

Let me check the box of choke tubes tonight. If I can find a factory mod, I'll just send it to you.
  2. Respect is earned, not demanded
  3. That's deep man, deep
  4. No contest here my brother. I've been here five years and I've seen folks come and go. The good ones stick, the others, well, don't stick. Don't get all bent just because I don't repect you and your three posts yet. No anger here doc, just reality Do you thnk opposing attorneys are 'angry' with each other? Do you think opposing politicians are 'angry' with each other? Do you think the founding fathers were 'angry' with each other? Were your profs angry with you in school? Some of you need to get a life - it's just the Internet - it's not your real life....or is it?.......
  5. You get what you get brother. Don't come on here and start making demands with your first post The gel pad is given some sort of dry lube when new. A quick clean up with some sort of detergent or cleaner will usually take care of the problem. My SBE II pad has not fallen out with four seasons of hard hunting. If the pad is undersized, all the cleaning in the world will not help, you will need to contact Benelli CS and ask them to exchange the pad. This is a relatively old problem, but maybe your SBE II was sitting on the rack for awhile. I've owned Benellis since 1990 and have not had any rust problems with any of them. I've had matte guns, blued guns, camo guns, Montes, SBE's, M1's, M2's, Legacy's, Novas, SBE II's, etc. As far as changes, sure, there could have been lots of changes. There could have been changes in machinery, blueing methods, manufacturing, etc. As I recall, Franky makes most of Beretta Holdings shotgun barrels, so maybe they have made changes. If they all rusted, Benelli would have been out of business long ago. As is, they sell every gun that make, so they must be doing something right. So pardon me for discrediting the vast minority and siding with the vast majority Any bets for how long it will take Rustola-Boy to post up like a broken record? I say within 24 hours.....
  6. Find me a post where a person following this golden rule was treated unfairly: The forums are hosted compliments of Benelli USA to post questions and comments. THE FORUMS ARE NOT A CONDUIT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA PHONE OR EMAIL (800-264-4962 or 301-283-6981). DO NOT POST CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS IN THE FORUMS. Inappropriate language and photos will not be tolerated and those posts will be removed. I cannot recall one instance where a person with a legitimate non-CS question was treated unfairly This is NOT a CS substitute. If you ask a CS question from forum members, be ready for a variety of replies. Also note, if you post up here with a question, you need to be prepared for any reply, even if it's not the one you want to hear. If you already know what you want to hear, why bother posting up What you will get here is replies from actual Benelli owners. Sorry if that offends some, but I'd rather hear from actual product owners that arm-chair quarterbacks that do not always have the standing to back up their position. Three buddies? Whoop-d-doo! I can find 50 guys that shoot Benellis and love them. I can also find a few that hate them. The same thing applies to maybe 8-10 other brands. What's your point brother?
  7. Not that I know of, but he posts up quite a bit at www.nwtf.org in the Shotgun Forum. You may have to do a bit of seaching on that forum, as he posts all year, and has for many years.
  8. I can't really go back and re-post everytime something is proven to the contrary. I think you should have just accepted my most recent post as an accurate representation of my current position. No big deal, I was surprised with Steve's info, but not totally shocked as shorter barrels have always caused me patterning problems.
  9. If you were proven wrong by someone with more experience than you, would you still stick to the incorrect theory Do you still wear the same coat you did in grade school? Did you even read my reply or did you just post it up in a frantic masturbatory attempt to prove your self correct? My reply applied to the barrel length speed debate, and my opinion still matches my comments from the above post. Even if I had posted about the barrel length pattern debate, I am entitled to change my opinion based on facts. Still Shooting Champion Steve Conover has proven that many longer barrels patten better even with identical chokes, loads, etc. When you win as many titles as Steve has, and your opinion is contrary to Steve's, then you are the winner. Until then, you are the loser And yes, many folks, like Steve, hand count every pellet, weigh powder with scientific accuracy, and are virtually unchallengable in their field.
  10. Think about it a bit
  11. I've killed feral hogs and deer with shotgun slugs. I've never seen anything more effective at the proper range
  12. You are absolutely, factually, incorrect. For whatever reason, for many guns, longer barrels throw better patterns, even when tested with the exact same choke or choke tube. This has been proven many times over by still target shooting champions.
  13. Try C to lower the POI. Don't aim using the beads though! I've got a buddy that loves the high shot and he averages about 23.5 on trap most of the year.
  14. I know three fellow shooters with broken Xtrema II's. A part in the bolt rail area breaks - same part on all three guns - not even a part made by Beretta according to Beretta USA. Beretta repairs in their own due time, usually several months. I have a Browning Silver, made in the same factory as the SX3, that has broken or failed several times. The Duratouch finish started to fail after 3-4 hunts. Browning CS said there was no warranty on their finish. This was an $1100 gun by the way. What say you on this? I would say that Will Rogers probably never met you Here's the dealeo, if this happened on every Benelli, they would be out of business. Like someone accurately stated, it does not, and at least 90%+ of Benelli owners are happy. Plain and simple, the odds are that you don't know how to care for your firearm. While you truly may have a defective finish on your barrel, that is an issue for Benelli CS, and we all know that: THE FORUMS ARE NOT A CONDUIT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA PHONE OR EMAIL (800-264-4962 or 301-283-6981). DO NOT POST CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS IN THE FORUMS.
  15. I can't believe how many people come here with a Benelli USA CS question when it clearly says above, in big red letters; THE FORUMS ARE NOT A CONDUIT TO CUSTOMER SERVICE. ALL CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS AND CONCERNS SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO CUSTOMER SERVICE VIA PHONE OR EMAIL (800-264-4962 or 301-283-6981). DO NOT POST CUSTOMER SERVICE QUESTIONS IN THE FORUMS. This place was clearly designed by Benelli USA for members to share just about any Benelli related topic EXCEPT CS issues. I don't recall many (or any really) cases where someone was treated improperly for asking a non-CS related Benelli question or raising a non-CS related issue. I have elected myself an unofficial Benelli police officer of this great forum. I believe I am one of many in this posse. I have made it my personal goal to dispense kangaroo justice in any way I see fit. If Benelli USA does not like it, they are free to ban me
  16. how you know ?
  17. All guns are a tough sell right now, especially used. It's worth what someone will pay for it though. Three years old makes it a first year SBE II. Unless LNIB, I would think it might sell for around $850.
  18. Don't be sorry, just pay attention and follow the simple rules set forth above Hint, the BIG RED LETTERS + THE BIG RED PHONE NUMBERS I knew Benelli CS would take care of it! I bet they send you a new stock faster than you think. Please post up and let us know how long it takes.
  19. I'll look at my SBE II when I get home, but I have never heard of the retaining band falling off the inside of the stock. I've had the pistol grip cap fall off and they sent me a new one in 3-4 days. Same for a broken mag cap a few years back. Sounds like a defective stock to me and I would think Benelli would replace under warranty. Maybe try contacting them directly instead of asking about it on the Internet If you look up and to the right a bit, there is a phone number for Benelli CS - it's right next to the part that says to not post CS questions in the forums
  20. Any Benelli in 24" is most likely going to sell cheaper than the other barrel lengths. Dealer Cost is only $800 on a 2008 NIB M2 in 12 or 20 gauge. I seem to recall lots of Timber short barrel M1's out there a few years ago. I think they even had a 21" bbl version, but that might have been in Real Tree. I've seen like NIB M1's in black for $500, quite a few actually. But $699 sounds pretty good to me for any NIB M1. Given that it's NIB, the warranty should apply as well.

    SBE III??????

I've heard nothing. Can you provide a link to the 'rumblings' at other forums? I doubt they would announce something this far after or this far before the SHOT Show.
  22. ..........
  23. Check with Benelli CS to see if the barrel is available where you live. Here in the U.S., if I owned a Raffaello, instead of spending the likely $500-$800 for a new Rafaello barrel, I would send the barrel to a place like Briley and have a choke tube system installed.
  24. Working seven days a week so they can take time off during hunting season If not at work, I'm planning future hunts. Just started booking 2010 hunts this week. Actually working on a few 2011 hunts as well.

    shims

What's in it now? C shoots the lowest, Z the highest. If you are aiming with the beads, the shims may not help much, you may need to change beads.
