  1. You're welcome.. Its no problem. Yes, Cylinder is the recomended choke for use with riflrd slugs by Benelli. Use Sabot slugs with a rifled barrel. I figured you would have unique shell manufacturers I just can't say one way or another as to how their particular performance will be from load to load since I don't have any experience with them. The best way to determine which loads will perform better is to buy different loads from different manufacturers and test fire on paper targets first to get a pattern comparison of each load with each choke. With the slugs all you'll have to do is pattern each load until you find one you're happy with using the cylider choke. [ 11-10-2005, 04:44 AM: Message edited by: birddog ]

Got a Taylor HS this past summer and its a real nice call.. very happy with it.
  3. 1st off Hello, and welcome to the forums. Its a great gun and you'll be very pleased with it! Shells are respective to the game you're after as well as weather conditions and distances. I'm not sure what shell manufacturers and loads are offered locally in Romania at all and would have to say your best bet is to talk with your local sportsmen as to what they're having success with and what ,if any, regulations are specified on material and such. Let us know what what your findings are when you get that far. good luck

    Hevi-shot

dump the Remington loads and go straight to the source hevi-shot remington only has a marketing/sales agreement with Environmetal Inc. .. and their loads are junk compared to the original. the reason the pellets are not uniform is because of the properties of the materials.. they're working hard to create a better consistancy of size but its really moot when you pull the trigger and something falls dead. the shot cup is key in these loads.. special wads/cups have been developed to handle the hardness of the shot.. use them! never had any damage to my guns from shooting it.. but then again.. I don't shoot the Remington loads.. actually, I don't shoot any Remington ammo.. thats just me tho. once you shoot it ... you'll change your thoughts on how much your hunting ammo costs with out a doubt!
  20. fun looking hunt ... pen birds?
  21. ***POOF*** Mods?...any explaination as to the "Edit" ?
  22. hmmm... 20ga at 35yrds with light target loads and a MOD choke, I'd bet. possibly - switch to the factory full choke and try - I'm guessing there, obviously! what loads are you shooting (give total breakdown info of the load include manufacturer) and choke constriction... [edit addition] The jamming is more than likely caused by you 'short cycling' the action... make sure you cycle the slide lock to lock. [ 03-30-2005, 08:16 AM: Message edited by: birddog ]
