yep.. normal wear. Pick up a blueing touch-up pen and hit the wear areas (that are hidden, obviously) and you should be good to go. My brother has the same situation on his and this is what he's done to add a lil' bit of protection.. so far so good. [ 03-30-2005, 08:01 AM: Message edited by: birddog ]

Pick up a few boxes of Hevi-Shot loads from Environmetal (the makers of hevi-shot). Look at the Waterfowl loads as well as the turkey loads in #6 offerings www.hevishot.com start out with the 2-3/4" hulls and go from there.. Good luck

LMAO.. you need to switch to a 20gauge tucker if you bruise that easy .. don't worry.. I won't go any further tell pops to lean into the shot a little and give it a grip! or if its stiil tough on you like B.LABMAN said .. go to a gas gun.. that 391 is your sweetest bet there.

Release all spring tension.. point blank.. no 'ifs', 'ands' or 'buts' about it.

Not sure what exactly is causing the cut but, you can remove the saftey from the trigger assembly - do the work and cover the raw surface with some bluing thats available from any shop around... put her back together and make'er happen. heck you could put it in your pocket and take to a smith and he could dab a little stuff on it for ya with out buying an entire container and wasting it.. never know .. your call.

answered your own question.. put the file to it if it's a sharp edge.. might be better served by a sharpening stone tho.. just round 'er off [ 03-13-2005, 01:11 PM: Message edited by: birddog ]

LOL... you bet M1014 !! Rip that thing down to every individual peice and strip-clean with a brush - everything! Then LIGHTLY oil and wipe-off or use compressed air to remove excess lube and re-assemble using a drop of oil on all 'contact points' of the bolt and reciever. generally keep at 3 dram, 1-1/8oz loads... shouldn't have any problems unless there is an internal part failure. Ain't that the truth tucker! sad thing about it is - if I like shooting the thing I'm certain I won't be able to keep myself from buying one

I concur with tucker here .. make some calls. start out with Benelli customer service... they should have the information/dealers names that have them on the rack.
