I've had no problems with any of the following brands of shells in my SBEII. Winchester, Remington, Federal, & Kent. The only Remingtons I've tried have been Hev-shot 3.5" turkey loads. Federal and Winchester have been numerous turkey and waterfowl loads, & the Kents were Fasteel.

Oh yeah, one more thing. If you find a European dealer who has a 10 round 30-06 magazine, please contact me privately

In Europe, the rifle is called the Argo or Argo Special. The listed dealer for Slovakia: POLOVNICTVO TEREM 8Nam, SNP - 974 01 BANSKA BYSTRICA SLOVAK REPUBLIC Tel: 00421 48 4125110 Fax: 00421 48 4125905 [email protected] SLOVAKIA If you cannot find one through them, other European dealers are listed on the Benelli Italy website. As an expensive last resort, you could purchase the gun from a US dealer or online seller, have it transferred to an import export dealer, and shipped to you. Click Here for an epic discussion on that subject. Good luck in locating and buying your new rifle!

I'm BACK!!!! Today was my first day of armed duck hunting since my surgery on 10-31. I used 2-3/4" 2's and had on lots of layers. Didn't feel a thing...but these poor guys sure did

Some side-to-side movement is normal. Please review this discussion for more information.

UPS, USPS, and Fed-X all have information on theire websites about this. In most cases, no special paperwork is required in order to ship out a gun for repairs/alterations and then receive it back.

Here's a question from left-center, if not left field altogether. How do we know that the shallow dimples are caused by hard primers as opposed to say thicker rims or deeper pockets? Just asking. I guess the proof would in loading equal hulls with the different brands of primers?

I did it about 25 years ago. Had a 870 with a 34" full choke barrel. I roughed up the last two inches of the inside of the barrel to make the wadding stick a bit on exit. It did a pretty good job on X cards. What kinds of prizes are you getting these days? We used to get a frozen turkey or a ham. Sometimes, we'd get cash, but not much.

Black Jack, I don't think frappr links are going to work here. The URL must be a full and direct link to a image file. Your's points to http://www.frappr.com/benelliownersgroup/photo/1033028 , but there should be a .jpg extension on it for it to be of use here. Look at the properties of my image above and you'll see http://www.gemsdesigns.com/images/howtopostanimage.jpg Nice mallards, by the way!

There is a thread somewhere on these forums which lists the times for each. As stated above, for most practical use, the differences are inconsequential.

Parts list are on the Italian website, but they are in multiple languages. http://www.benelli.it/ServizioClienti/UsoManut/Body.asp?Lan=EN

Do you think it's gonna work? Looks like there could be a navigation problem here.

The picture must be uploaded to the web first. That's how you get a URL. You can't post it directly from your computer. Use an image hosting service: http://hunt101.com/ http://photobucket.com/

PS: Great link, iowahunter!

Note to self: NEVER move to CA!!!! Here's how it works in VA. Go to gun shop and pick out gun. Fill out forms, wait for quick records check (10 minutes or so), pay for gun, take gun home.

At this point, I have deep concerns over the way you are assembling the weapon. Either take it to the dealer and get his assistance or get some hands-on help from a friend who has some experience.
-
No, and it shouldn't on yours either.

Search the Benelli section, rahter than the Turkey Hunting section. Plenty of threads like this one. http://www.benelliusa.com/forums/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/1978.html#000000

Is this your first gun? If the stock is loose, then pop off the recoil pad and tighten the nut.

An engineer died and was sent to Heaven. Upon his arrival at the pearly gates, he was told that Heaven was full of engineers and really didn't need anymore, since they were already so many that it was nearly impossible to get anything done. The engineer was promptly transferred to Purgatory. A few weeks later, God calls Satan and checks to see how things are going. Satan informs God that since the arrival of the engineer, things are going quite well. "As you know, we already had 99% of the contractors, so it was just a matter of getting them steered in the right direction. We now have running water, air conditioning, refrigeration, and we're even looking at making some snow next week so we can all go skiing!" God was furious. "You will have to send me that engineer immediately!" "It was an accounting error, and he was never supposed to go to you in the first place!" Satan replied, "I'm keeping him". "I'll sue you!!" , bellowed the Creator, as lightning and thunder crashed in the distance. Smugly, confidently, the Dark One responded, "...And where is YOUR lawyer?"
