Another vote for Black Cloud. I just started using it this year, and it is taking no prisoners.

3+1 - That's 3 in the magazine, plus one in the chamber. The gun ships with a limiter installed. The limiter, or plug as most refer to it, restricts the magazine capacity to 2 in order to meet US migratory bird hunting requirements. The limiter is easily removed. Either camo would be fine in most areas. The various camo patterns are made to appeal to humans. Lack of movement is what hides you from animals. See above. Besides, I don't think camo is a factor in either place for bird hunting.

I would imagine that it is a co-branding collaboration between the two companies. No different than Franchi giving Dick's Golf and Tackle special models.

Buy some #5 copper plated and a good turkey choke. Go hunting.

Have you zeroed it yet? The R1 that I had didn't like anything but the factory base, because of the built-in taper.

Quick answer:

Apparently his site did have some problems. Not sure if they're cleared up now or not, but he has been made aware of the problem.

I've never heard of any problems with Benelli's synthetics holding up to temperature extremes. Tom Knapp shoots more in a day than many do in a lifetime, and he hasn't melted one yet.

Maybe a bolt handle.

My SBEII likes some brands of shells better than others. Federals do better than Winchesters. You also need to make sure that you stay at or above the minimum load requirements stated in the manual. The gun works best when broken in with several boxes of heavy field loads. An Inertia gun must be shouldered properly in order to function. Do not use Rem-Oil. Use a quality CLP like Breakfree or Hoppes Elite. Do not lube it to the point that it's dripping with lube. A light coat is best. If you provide more details about the loads you are shooting and the circumstances present when it hangs, we may be able to help you further. No need to double post the issue.

I like the looks of that!

You'll need four more posts in order to post an image. But, no, this is not typical.

I'd do it if I had to, but I've never had to. Anyone who does so out of choice is ridiculously careless and unsafe.

I read your post several times and I can't tell if it's fake or not.

Obnoxious buddy - Improvements in SBE II over original SBE?
tucker301 replied to quickbiscuit's topic in Benelli
The SBEII was built on the same base system as the SBE, but with the following improvements & enhancements. Crio treated barrel and choke tubes Comfortech Stock Larger trigger guard for improved use with gloves Stainless Steel recoil spring assembly for lower maintenance and prolonged component life Air touch gripping for improved handling in wet and icy conditions There are probably a few more, but those are the ones I can come up with right now. You need a new buddy. There's really no need to tolerate an obnoxious dolt as a friend. -
Almost there. Take the piston assembly apart and let's see what you've got!

The Irish have to go through a special approval process. It takes a bit longer.

Gotta love the Photoshop!

Transfer your pictures to the computer, then upload them to the hosting service. Much easier that way. http://www.photobucket.com

Cool! Post a pic when you get it setup.

ppro, Did you use the C&H mercury reducer like this one? The tube diameter on mine is .750". That is also the diameter of the barrel on my AR-15. That means that a barrel clamp sling mount for an AR-15 should clamp onto to the tube on the C&H perfectly. http://store.a51tactical.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=66_67_165&products_id=566

Is the piston design like that of the R1? Do you not own a digital camera?!
