  1. ... And a brown one
  2. I already had a black rifle
  3. For trap, I usually just wrap a few rounds of barbed wire around the buttstock. This way, it feels like I'm really shooting a gun. Always wear a beret when trap shooting.
  4. That's impressive. His website isn't loading for me at the moment.
  5. I got bored again Maybe I'll sell it. Maybe I'll shoot it. Maybe I'll put it away for a rainy day.
  6. My SBEII runs a close second to this one as my favorite "in-service" firearm.
  7. Having this on the nightstand helps me sleep.
  8. Here's a current working project. Picking up pieces here and there as I go along. Rail handguards, ERGO grip, and optics are still inbound. I haven't worked the trigger yet. Maybe this weekend.
  9. Here is my most treasured item. It's my grandfather's Iver Johnson Champion 12 Ga. If the house catches on fire, I'm grabbing this one first. I'll get Wifezilla on the second pass
  10. Here's a little project I just finished. It's my Savage 10ML-II Muzzleloader. I didn't like the factory laminated stock, and I had this B&C Duramaxx leftover from an upgrade on my varmint rifle. A little bit of Dremel work, a little bit of milling, and a little bit of Devcon.....
  11. Well, that is a shame. I sure hope you find them after all is settled.
  12. Hogwild makes another good point. Make sure that your current insurance policy is ample to cover your collection.
  13. That's right, minions. I'm back! I spent the whole AM photo-inventorying my guns. If you haven't already done so, think about taking a detailed inventory with photos and serial numbers and storing it in a safe place. Thumb drive at the office, protected Photobucket folder, etc. It's better to have it an never need it that it is to need it and not have it. She still looks pretty good after 5 seasons
  14. Firepower or pretty? Take your pick.
  15. Here's a better look at the rifle.
  16. It's still marinating. You have to let them soak a while to get the gamey taste out.
  17. I like M1014's guns the best. Doogie's stuff is fugly.
  18. That's a Savage 12FVSS in 22-250, factory barrel cut to 24", Bell & Carlson Medalist stock, Leupold VX-III 6.5-20x50mm with a Kenton TTC dial tuned for my 50 grain V-max handloads. That's not me with the beaver. It's a friend of mine.
  19. What else you need?
  20. Here's a link to check ammo prices. http://www.ammoengine.com/find/ammo/.270_WSM
