EDIT: Bah! They removed the image. Sorry. [ 02-23-2006, 02:47 PM: Message edited by: sdkidaho ]

Could have been worse. Cheney could have drawn a cartoon about Allah and started World War III.
-
And here he is backpedaling just as fast as he can.
-
Very true. I think the important thing to remember is that most of us will "never" need our gun to shoot that fast. Ever. So the hundreths of a second difference in speed between these guns is negligible.
-
The 12 shots in 1.73 seconds was at the very end, so you don't actually get to see what he's shooting and if he hits them all. Still, very fast.
-
Ok, we've all seen Tom Knapp (cut and paste this link: mms://wst1.atk.com/anokastream/TomKnappWorldRecord_sm.wmv) and how fast he is with the Benelli. And then there is the Winchester crowd that are convinced that Patrick Flanigan is the best. What about this guy, Tim Bradley? At about 1:45 seconds in he tosses up ten or more clays and takes them out (I think? I can't count the shots well enough). Not too bad. Some very impressive shooters with some very impressive guns.
-
Yeah, if you could just mark all your favorite hunting spots that'd be great!
-
Outdoor Life article about new shotguns from different manufactures. No, nothing on Benelli.

Well, if you find out you can't get the safety adjusted to your liking, cover the sound with something else. A mouth call wouldn't require any more movement. Sqwak away when you push that safety over. Yup, I'm just here to help.

Too bad these are from Browning and not Benelli. Interesting to see they have a 3-1/2" model in their Cyngery Shotguns now, as well as having them in camo. Looking forward to seeing what Benelli and Beretta put out.
-
Worse recoil than his old 10 gauge? That'd suck. Maybe you guys are holding the wrong end of the gun?
-
If you goto the "World Class" section you can see one or two, but the rest of their line is... not there.
-
Franchi did update theirs, but... where the crap are the O/U's now? Am I missing something right out in the open or are they a pain in the arse to find now? Stoeger you can still find everything, but it's like the Franchi people sort of forgot they have an O/U line or something. Hoping that after Feb 9th through the 11th we'll see some more updates on these sites!

Better than taking a picture is when your buddy has to take a leak while you're traveling down the highway. Of course being the good friend that you are, you stop and let him out and he stands near the back of the truck to do his thing. And of course you slowly pull away, revealing him to each and every passers by. He'll either make a mess trying to get behind the truck again (ie- piss on himself) or run like a penguin [ 02-02-2006, 09:13 PM: Message edited by: sdkidaho ]

I could have guessed you'd be the guy to watch out for when someone was taking a leak.
-
One suggestion I've seen in instances like this is that maybe the gun isn't being shouldered tight enough for the inertia system to cycle properly. That's easy enough to believe, especially if it's been fired 7 or 8 times consecutively, or one right after the other.

I've had it before, long ago, but yeah, not Flipper.
-
That'd be all I need, to get hooked on fishing in the ocean and live in Idaho.
-
What is the white'ish headed one? Still a Canadian, but younger? Or something else?
-
Sounds like a "very" fun week. I've never been out on the ocean, and never caught anything bigger than a trout. Of course, that is secondary for me with the turkey thing. I "have" get one of those d@mn birds!!
-
Technically anything that breaks up your pattern gives you an advantage. I think its debatable simply for the fact that people have killed animals and birds for a very long time before camo-covered weapons ever came into existence. Will my next gun be camo'd? Yes. Will it make me a better hunter? No, I don't think so, though others may disagree.
