I was able to handle one at the SHOT Show. It handled great and I agree would be a wonderful upland gun. However, a person of small stature might not want to shoot hi brass 3".

There are only 3 LOP ComforTech pads listed 13.5" , 14" and 14.375" No other ideas on recoil pads. As for stocks, Bell & Carlson do make synthetic stocks. For a wood stock try Accurate Innovations or Ironwood Designs. Good luck

For your stock try, Bell & Carlson in Dodge City, KS. For the recoil pad, try LimbSaver. But I would suggest a forum seach for recoil pad reviews before buying one.

The tubes marked "NO STEEL" are the ones that are too consticted for steel shot. That being full and mod - improved chokes. I would not shoot anything other than lead in those maked "NO STEEL".

Two ways I found to eat ducks and geese are: Marinate, wrap in bacan, grill and glaze with honey. Or marinate with OJ and wiskey, grill and glaze with a bourbon BBQ sauce.

Frenchie, I own a SBE II LH for water fowl and M2 LH for upland game. If I were to have to choose only one gun if would havce to be the SBE II. Hope you did not get any damage from the storms on Sunday.

The new sight from Hi Viv is called Magni Comp. I was able to shoot with it for the first time. It is a very nice addition to the gun.

My SBE II LH is 28" set up with a Pattermaster Choke paid $1235. for water fowl. The M2 LH is 26" paid $949. the length and weight works well for upland game.

I own both, SBE II LH and M2 LH. Both are great guns. I use the SBE II for water fowl and the M2 for upland game. If I had to have only one it would be the SBE II.

I did the change over myself, it is easy. The sight I used is a new model that will be on the market is summer or fall. ( A friend is VP of PRoduct R&D at HiViz) However thier Flash Point and TriComp models work the same way. To help secure the sight, use Blue Thread Lock on the screw. Secure the sight down with a rubber band while you put in the sight screw. This will prevent the back of the sight from riding up will you tighten the screw.

I changed my SBE II and M2 sights over to Hi Viz. The SBE II has their new Comp sight. I used their magnetic based sights but they walked up the barrel with the recoil of 3.5" loads. The new sight works great.

I got a SBE II LH last spring, used it for waterfowl and upland game this season. The only wear problem I notice was the metal sling swivels were marking the barrel. Swithed to polymer swivels at the end of the season and see no problems. Liked my SBE II so much, I bought a M2 LH.

The new Brownings and Winchesters were nice, but nothing to write home about. As was the case with most of the "NEW" guns at the SHOT Show. The exception was Berrett's new .416. Benelli did have the new Ultra Light 12 ga, that was nice.

Most of the gun manufactures launch thier new guns at the SHOT (Shooting, Hunting, Outdoor Tradeshow) Show in Las Vegas. The show is Feb 9-12 this year.

I have had some trouble with Winchesters in my SBE II LH and swithced to Kent Faststeel. Shot over a 100 rounds in AR last week without a jam.
