    value ???

  2. The problem is your solution is awfully inefficient ... the reason you'd want to use a rail based light is that it WOULDN'T be a mag tube clamp (requiring removal for cleaning) ... if you get a mag tube rail clamp, then use a DD rail mount flashlight holder ... it's a redundant system for no real benefit as I see it, as neither of the items is quick release ... IMO you would be better off just getting a simple magtube clamp mount if you're going to go that route. You see what I mean though? You're using 2 parts to perform a job that is better performed by one part ... a railed tube clamp with a DD rail grabbing flashlight mount is going to be more complex, expensive, heavier and bulkier than a smaller, stronger, more efficient one piece mag tube clamp light mount ...
  3. That mount needs a rail to grab. The m4 has no stock rail, the aftermarket rails are mediocre. This is the problem.
  4. Almost 10 years.
  5. Your gun I guess, do as you will.
  6. Oh you guys. I remember being 14.
  7. I've never used the Nordic one, so I can't really judge it. The GG&G one works well.

    tactical

    I like your taste.
  9. Bad Prices Bad Selection Sales Tax If you're not picky though, have a ball ... I never find anything I want at gun shows
  10. You forgot your flag ...
  11. You don't happen to have any pictures of your old bolt carrier or receiver ... do you? The old ones that were badly beat up ... I have 11.5k through my m4, and granted mine is the 2 port model, but I'd be interested in comparing my wear to yours.
  12. Why do you still use a barrel clamp thing?
  13. +1 It's very poor ammo pattern wise.
  14. LOL nice first post!
  15. My GG&G never jammed on me, it just sucked.
  16. I did not get a message. Apparently they knew I have a cold heart and their message would be wasted on me. Or the mods got around to doing a mass delete by now.
  17. I am very underwhelmed with the aftermarket offerings. It's a choice between a barrel/mag tube clamp or rail based system, which has to be removed for cleaning and has no real defense against torquing sideways ... Or you get the surefire or FAB or Sidearmor rail ... all of which have their own issues. Ideally, like mentioned above, I want a minimalist flashlight setup that doesnt have to be removed for cleaning. A few guys have made a cool mod to the factory handguards, where they added a piece of rail and then put a light on the rail ... but I haven't done this yet. 18. In a word, Yes. If you can afford it, of course.
  19. Really? I held one once, but I've never shot one. IIRC it was heavy as ****.
  20. Actually, I'd get a supersport, but I've never held a Cordoba.

    Lookin for Ammo

I have 357 short barrel gold dots, as well as 230 grain HSTs. Unfortunately I do not have enough to share
  22. You are right, I never help anybody and I am very old and obese. You "have no idea of the effort required" because you did not do a simple search for one of the dozens of times this issue has been discussed before. I have probably explained the tube removal process 20 times over the past 3 years on this site. I get tired of repeating myself, so I stepped up the ultra harsh insult of questioning your manliness and hand strength, and low and behold, "DEMS FIGHTIN WORDS!" is your response. I pushed a girl off a boat in second grade, does that me a tough guy? I also punched the school nurse when she tried to remove a splinter from my hand. I guess I'm a woman beater too.
  23. Yes. 14x14
  24. Strap wrenches are for girly men with low hand strength!
  25. No, but from the looks of it there is no anti-rotational cuts, and as such I would not recommend it ... but honestly in that picture it's hard to tell, so I could be wrong.
