People do it all the time. But I know 4 guys that have bulges in there field barrels now. 2 brownings, 1 mossberg, and one 870. Do what you want but I would have a slug gun or slug barrel. for an sbeII you can buy 2 guns for the price of a slug barrel so whatever. If you do use your field barrel, companys made rilfed slug chokes(lead only right 10 gauge ) to. I don't know how they shoot so your on your own there. novaking

I thought about using my 20 nova this year but i'm still a novice turkey hunt so the extra yards with the 12 helps. novaking

That guy that shoots for winchester is real sloppy. He will never be a Tom Knapp. Tom shoot more smooth with his nova than winchester guy is with his x3. novaking

sorry, In my first post I said EXTENDED chokes cyl-ex full. NOT TURKEY CHOKES! I never said ALL carlson chokes handle steel There is a turkey carlson choke and there is a ex full choke. ALL CARLSON EXTENDED CHOKES CYL-EXFULL CAN AND WILL TAKE STEEL! novaking OUT

I said all chokes could handle steel.I didn't say what shot size or what I recomend. I believe that you extended what I said with more words novaking

I don't no but if you need extra parts for your nova. Your way hard on nova's than any other person I know. They must not last a bad car wreck. what did you hit? A tank! p.s. think all the interal parts are the same novaking

I've had the same problem with people that live next to ranges. I have belonged to 2 different ranges in the last 3 years because of the same problems that your talking about. novaking

it doesn't look like trap to me. I don't see a trap house in front of him. I've never seen a trap field look like that. It looks like sporting clays or 5 stand to me which C or IC or mod chokes would be better for that. right??? HELP ME OUT TUCKER novaking
