single or double trap. If you are shooting single trap then I would say a Nova or Supernova. If you shoot doubles an I would say the Cordaba or the Supersport. I think you would be unhappy with the Montefeltro and the Ultralight for trap because they are light guns and recoil will be greater. novaking

Its normal. All three of my Novas do it. The bigger the load, The futher it will go back. If you don't hold on it the action with a 3 1/2 turkey load, It will release the shell. novaking

I have a limsavers recoil pad on my nova and it helps better than a recoil reducer with lighter loads. Recoil reducers help with heavier loads. As far as supernova vs nova. I have both.. ? novaking
