  1. I put 3 1/2 inch buckshot through my nova all the time when I hunt. NO problems here. novaking
  2. My nova and super nova are a little clanky. I don't know why it is but it doesn't hurt the performace of the gun. I've ben turkey hunting for years with my nova's and I've never had a problem with noise. Your nova's action will get smoother over time. I have 2 novas and 1 supernova and they serve my just fine. novaking
  3. That would be sweet. If the 12 gauge weights 6 pounds. I wander what the 20 gauge will weight. novaking
  4. Nova, Nova, Nova. Nova's are the best for the money. I have a 28 12gauge nova(for geese and duck) , a 20 26 inch 20 gauge(for upland and dove) nova and a camo 24 inch 12 gauge super nova for turkey. I love em and I will never buy anything else. The only I like and don't like at the same time is the weight. 12 gauge novas can weight 8 or more pounds which is why I have a 20 gauge now. But for turkey and geese they are alot better on the shoulder. novaking
  5. haha I think your right
  6. thanks, I will check that out. novaking
  7. for turkey the nova. most turkey hunting, well in my state you can only have one tag for one season and that means one shot one kill. Most every one I know shoots with a pump or a single shot just for that reason. But if you can have more than one tag in your pocket. Than I would go with the m2 or sbe. novaking
  8. voted!!!!!! we need all the help we can get
  9. Moving is an option but illinois is two states. chicago and the rest of illinois and chicago as 40% of the vote. That doesn't leave alot of room of the rest of us. Believe me, all hunters in illinois are trying to make things better novaking
  10. Thanks Tucker, The bar would be a second choice but ar's are against the law to hunt with in illinois. You can only have a max. of 5 round in a centerfire rifle to hunt. I was just hoping and dreaming novaking
  11. Does anyone think they will ever offer the r1 in .223 or .243, or 204? I would buy one in a heartbeat. See when benelli built the R1 they didn't think of us Illinois people because we can only hunt varments with a rifle. novaking
  12. My nova's are a little loose but I don't even think about it anymore. regarless, it will funtion the same. FLAWLESS!! Novaking
  13. benelli's rock, PERIOD!!! no questions asked. however they could give me all the guns they mess up instead of kicking the crap out of them novaking
  14. trade it for a nova 20. then you can shoot whatever you want. novaking
  15. With the loads out now I would go with the m2. Being a nova man, I used to shoot 3 1/2 for turkey and waterfowl. But the right 3 inch shell will work just fine. You can always buy a m2 and a reg. nova and it would about the same price and you would have the versatlity of both worlds. Nova's (8lbs) will handle the bigger loads better for waterfowl and the m2 is great for upland game. novaking
  16. no, They don't have grip for it yet. Its a great pistol but smith or anyone else doesn't have a lot after market items for it. novaking
  17. carlsons chokes at the way. call or email them and they will tell you which choke to use with which shot. They are about 34.95 and I can put 23 pellets on a turkey target at 65 yards with heavyshot 3 1/2 #5s. http://www.choketube.com novaking
  18. http://www.choketube.com carlson chokes are the best.call or email them and they will help you find the right choke for you. you can shoot anything though the extended chokes and good for life novaking
  19. I would have to agree with Tim. I think color chokes is a personal choice. I like extended choke that are just labeled on the outside. Briley makes great chokes, but I would check out carlsons chokes. http://www.choketube.com They are backed for a lifetime and you can shoot lead, steel, heavyshot, or anything esle you want to shoot. novaking
  20. I just have a reg. nova and mine just comes right off. There is 2 pins. and it slides right out sorry I couldn't help more
  21. Hey, Does any one know where I can get a holster for my simga series 9mm smith-wessen. I'm trying to stay under $40 dollars. thanks novaking
