by the way...i've shot everything from Fed Dove shot to Hevi shot and Fed 3.5...and hav'nt had a cycling problem.....

Anyways....Try useing FP-10 oil....CLP...or No.9 Hoppes, From what i'm told Remoil just cloggs and invites dirt..and i did notice it in my other semi....i've ran 300 to 400 shot threw my SBE2 since Dec2007...i can honestly say no jams or cycling problems...and for guys saying they only clean their guns at the end of the season is Bs...why would you not clean a Benelli after every hunt....the gun costs an arm and leg..and if you have a Black one you have to watch it even closer...for rust from what i've read...any guy that puts a wet gun in a wet case and leaves it there for 24 hours, does'nt deserve a Benelli in my Book...anyways...i hav'nt had any of the problems with my Black SBE2 that,i've been reading....its been pretty sweet....Honkers41

Duck had the same problem...took my Duck loads and Geese and Dove and went to the pattern board...Tried Trulock,Kicks and Briley chokes.. 3 inch mags and 3,5 mag,.shot a few times gun shot all loads high....shimmed, Shim C most drop...BINGO!!!!! perfect pattern....i shot from 20 to 40 useing all loads and chokes..anyways to end a long story...it was imporant for me to pattern this gun...i'm a serious waterfowler and i wanted to know what it would do..i spent 2 hours pattern this gun and now its done..cause i know what Duckboss is going threw....and its frustrating..Honkers41

Well anyways...Benelli sets their guns up for the average size guy...i think its 5'7" 160 lbs etc...i've yet to talk to anyone that has a SBE2 and they had to adj thier LOP because it was hitting high..i can't believe this gun is hitting that high out of the box unless he has some bad habits shooting or the drop is so far off..i've changed my recoil pad, because when shoulding the gun it was hitting my parka and i was was'nt getting it planted...it did'nt change my point of impact at all..like i said Drop has to be changed and it sounds like this guy needs a gunsmith to set him up..all adjustments that i've seen were Cast or Drop...just my 2 cents...Honkers41

Mercy...he did'nt even put it together yet or shoot it...and he's ready to take it back.....anyways to answer your question...No...i'm not disappointed with my SBE2 had since Dec2007 shot it over 400 times already, even killed some Geese with it...its a great gun...and yes it was alittle tight in the begginning..but things do have to be broken in...Honkers41

I agree Benelli does set their guns to shoot high. for us American hunters..this is'nt the only forum, i've heard complaints....they set them up for the average Joe...and most guys have trouble setting them up...It is'nt the Lop....its the drop...the angle of the barrel to the stock....i had the same problem...i set the gun to its lowiest drop and shot a Kickhigh flyer with number4's Blackcloud and it shot a great pattern. i wanted to set it up for my waterfowling loads,i did'nt like the Trulock chokes that came with it...just not my likeing....i shot everything from BBB to dove shot and many chokes later...after it was setup off too the claybird range...Fullchoke and 7 1/2 shot...i shot it...dead on....had my brother inlaw shoot it....dead on.....we were done...took sometime and shells and a few chokes,but now the guns Dead on....!!!Honkers41

How high is high??? i'd like to see a Target.before letting anyone work on my barrel....what choke? what shot!!!Range?? i had the same problem..till i shim'd it ..Dude...take it to a gun smith...hopefully he'll have somewhere you can shoot it and he'll make adjustments on the drop for you...don't let anyone do anything to the Barrel.., i panic too when my SBE2 was shooting high...so just be patient..take it to a gunsmith and he will get you on the paper...and it won't cost much...goodluck let me know ,if i can help...Honkers41

Congrats Bro...!!! i love my'in also...only thing i did'nt like was the little bead....so i put a Easyhit sight on it...helped me find the end of the barrel faster...i'm a instictive shooter, but i only had this SBE2 since Dec...and getting the feel and the swing of it...its a awsome gun goodluck and remember if its a Black SBE2 wipe it down before putting it in any Case...Oh and don't forget to break it in...i've ran about 400 shots threw my'in with no problems..including Dove shot...so goodluck with it and treat like a Covette...Laugh....Honkers41

Ch i was shooting Black cloud number 4's and BBB&BB, i was shooting Kicks Fullchoke&Xtra fullchoke and also used a Briley Mod choke...all pattened well...but the Kicks was much better with Blackcloud, more dense and even...I also Shot Kents Faststeel BBB out of the Kicks...and Hevi shot number 2's....at it shot well...so i'm going for snows this weekend...and i'll be shooting Kicks full choke with BBB Kents and black cloud and we'll see what happens...i'll let you know,how i do...and just to let you all know,i've been in contact with the rep from Kicks a few times and there is no safety issues when shooting B/C out of Kicks chokes..waterfowl Tv and the duck commander did alot shooting with them...so if its good enough for them boys..we're continue to use it.....Honkers41 aka Russ

I hear you brother...i shot Kents 3.5 BB out of my SBE2 and it kicks like a mule...,i don't feel the comftec system working on them babies,but i love them...and i'll be shooting at the snowgeese this weekend with them...i got 3 boxs to burn....psssttt...i got some 3 inch also just incase the 3.5's loosen my teeth......:DHonkers41

I agree with Tm...use the full choke....left foot in front pointing in the direction of the clays direction, sometimes guys will bend their leg alil...and this is ok also...also have your gun up and settled in...deep breath ,exhale...squeeze trigger . Honkers41

Tucker try getting the Kicks Highflyer in full choke...you won't be disappointed.....try Kents BBB and you favorite duckload in the choke and then you can thank me....LOL...Honkers41

Well...i've had my SBE since Dec11.2007...Patterned it.. adjusted it for me, duck&Goose hunting with it.....Trapped with it twice in the last 2 weeks...and its been a great Gun...no jams, no cycling problems...right now im just trying to get used to it...i hit about75% with it....and have added a new Easyhit sight to try and help me...the only complaint, i have is the little beads they put on the barrels...otherwise its a great Gun and well worth the price ,if your someone who's going to Takecare of it...its the gun for you...Honkers41!!!

10 i do shoot number 6's out of that choke...Kents Turkey load number 6's 2 ozs 3 inch Mag...they rock...oh and the barrels 24 inch not 22....The choke was made by Hastings a few years back,i'm not sure if they make them anymore ,but its put 10 Birds on the ground for me in the past....Honkers41

Thanks CH...but i've got all the chokes,i can handle...i bought a few in Dec when i bought this SBE2...Briley,Kicks,etc...i don't think i'm shooting turkeys with this gun i have a Turkey special 500 22 inch barrel,Sync Moss with.640 Hastings choke in it...that rocks Birds out to no mans land....i found the recoil pad i wanted it was pricey, but thats what i get....Honkers41

Ok..i wanted to change my recoil pad on my SBE2 with comfortech to a 14 inch LOP instead of 14 3/8..i tried to contact Benelli by email but no answer...can anyone direct me to a contact? Thanks Honkers41

I love my SBE 2...i've been goose hunting with it after all the patterning and its been working fine,i've shot BBB and number 4's and 71/2 shot...its been a smooth firing gun...i have no complaints,i don't understand why so many guys are having problems with them....i went out when i got it in Dec 2007 pattern it...shot some skeet...then went to the marsh...its been flawless....Honkers41

I have even an older model then the 9200,i have a moss 1000...its been a great awsome piece...i've rebuilt it the last3 years recoil springs,firing pin etc...to this day, i can take it out and hit everything in it's path...its a great gun..just heavier then my Benelli SBE2, but shoots as good!! I just pattern my SBE 2 and shooting B/C threw a Kicks Highflyer full choke and it threw out some great patterns from 20 to 40 yards, so i'm happy with that,Kicks says that Black cloud can be shot out their chokes so you might want to check Kicks chokes out. Honkers41

Im useing Kicks full choke highflyer in my SBE2 and i'm hitting everything that moves, i went to the range today and shot over a 100 shots useing Black cloud,Kents fast steel,Winchester steel,and shot some trap.i used the Mod Benelli choke first to pattern my sbe2 and i adjusted my Drop and i got great patterns and then put the Kicks fullchoke in and it put out great patterns i was useing number4s and BBB so i went to the trap and shot some 71/2 shot and hit everything..from 15 to 35 yards with the Kicks F/C so i'm happy with the f/c they say its good out to 50 or so yards, but i won't be shooting that far, so try the fullchoke.
