  1. Damn, not bad for the first post. Pretty quick
  2. The price sucks, but in all honesty your not gouging anybody if they will pay for it. Thats the beauty of capitalism. Sooner or later somebody will want it bad enough that they will pay the price for it. Naw, your not gouging, don't worry about it.
  3. Just remember, you get what you pay for. Not sure how well a $30 piece of plastic would protect a $1500 weapon. If it is not getting banged around, I guess it should be alright, but I still wouldn't trust it with my investment. I would rather pay the $200 and know it would be protected. Thats why I use Hardigg storm cases, plus they have a lifetime unconditional warranty.
  4. Benelli doesn't make a hard case specifically. Give Dixie Ammo Dump a call (706.654.5612) and ask them about a hardcase from Hardigg, they are a dealer and will give you a good price on one. You will probably need a 3200 stormcase. You can also check out the Hardigg stormcases here. http://www.stormcase.com Hope this helps.
  5. http://www.tacticallink.com/ http://www.tacticallink.com/Products.aspx?Cat=5 I have their slings on my M4's as well as my carbines
  6. They didn't make an M4 in '89 did you mean '98? The weapon was designed around the 1998 time period.
  7. Good post. Anybody who hasn't joined needs to.

    Whoops....

Smooth bore shotgun barrel. No change in POA/POI. In all honesty, your shooting a big muzzle loader. Which in itself, is not as accurate as a barrel that is rifled. Rifle, anytime you remove stock from barreled action, sights, optics, rail, etc. it could affect POA/POI. I have seen it dramatically change. I have also removed optics and reinstalled with no change. Hope this helps.
  10. I have a M4, a good buddy of mine is a Fed, he uses an M2. Both are reliable, function well, and shoot most anything. You can't go wrong with either. I would use either. Both are nice, durable, reliable. I don't think it would matter to me one way or the other which one I would have.

    Whoops....

Are we talking about a shotgun barrel or a rifle barrel? I thought we were discussing a shotgun barrel?

    Whoops....

No change in POA, POI. The only time that would be an issue is if you removed the red dot and or rail. Removing the barrel will not affect this.
  13. Overkill - Anytime anybody in the brady bunch decides to talk about any weapon at anytime, regardless of what the intent, purpose or configuration of the weapon is. synonym: uneducated
  14. Thanks Admin
  15. Ya, the search function here sucks. I have tried to use it several times without much success.

    M4 FTF

I tried to use the factory spring on your tube SOCOMguy, I am not sure if the spring was wore out, or what, but it was too weak to push the last round out and was also causing a FTF situation. I replaced it with a surecycle spring and have had no problems since. Not contradicting you by any means, the factory spring just didn't work for me is all.
  17. I was beginning to wonder how you could put cheap and surefire in the same sentence. LOL. All things being equal, I would still pay for the surfire. Yes, its a name, but its also a repeatedly proven item. Plus, my life depends on it due to the job.

    M-4 slings

You can use any sling you want. Heck, you can use a bungee cord. It is all personal preference. Hope this helps
  19. +1 on the Burris Fastfire.
  20. They're there to look and not touch. Just for eye candy. LOL Thats why there's so many, nobody can buy them cause of all the fubarred laws in Cali. hahahahaha
  21. Can you expand on this? Did you do it yourself? Have somebody do it? What was done, etc. Very intererested in this.
  22. More than a day, less than a yr.

    Eotech

+1 on the Burris Fastfire. I have one on my Benelli M4 with the extra protection of the metal ears. Oh and the Fastfire is all metal also, not plastic or polymer like the Trijicon I use the EoTech 553 on my M4 Bushmaster. Both work great.
  24. Just got one from strahren. Had a link, I deleted it. Somebody needs to check the site. Somebody found an exploit it looks like
  25. There is a couple things you can make Left handed, but the weapon itself is not left handed. You can change the safety over and if you want you can also move the sling swivel over on the magazine to the left side for left side carry, but thats about it for making it left handed.
