  1. It would be nice if Benelli would get on the M4S90 drawboard again to update a 1 piece forend. It`s in my opinion the most trickiest part in assembling, especially when you have to hurry up.
  2. The thick mattress and soft gun case would have cushioned it somehow, but it`s the unseen stress applied to it which could have caused microscopic bending here and there what annoys me. Or is it just a OCD?
  3. I was hiding my Benelli M4 with the collapsible stock shortened in a soft gun case on my bed with a blanket over, when I expected visitors in my apartment. After that I forgot my gun under the blanket and lay my 185 pound body over it. Should the M4 be checked for any damages?
  4. What happens to me if I post here pics of my 100% spaghetti Benelli M4 with its TS stock and 7 shot tube (stock Benelli Italy factory setup)? Ok, me and my gun are not in the us, but will I be busted for posting it on a american forum?
  5. This runs my M4S90 http://www.deltaoil.com/Product.aspx?CtgID=10&ProductID=21&LngID=EN
  6. What about putting a new set of 11707 oem forend on older m1014s? I read a thread somewhere that earlier M4/M1014 forends wouldn`t be compatible on the newer 11707s, but in reverse new forends will fit on older M4/M1014. My 2003 M4S90 has no barrel ring, but does the barrel extension anyway seat properly against the receiver with new factory 11707 forends? By inspection through the ejection port I cannot see any gap between on my weapon, but can there be a little misfit that could rattle up the gun by time?
  7. I know it has been discussed numerous threads about this issue, but are there some new innovations for the collapsible stock? GG&G wont work and the Mesa tactical pistogrip split pin version could be a thumb buster I guess. Couldn`t GG&G come up with one for the TS stock? I like to have a single point sling adapter close to the receiver.
  8. Move the barrel clamp a bit towards the muzzle or get another extension tube that is not bent. It could also be a bad barrel guide ring.
  9. Somebody who knows where other places than Remingtons I can obtain genuine parts for the Remington M24 Sniper rifle? I`m looking for the irons sight bases with screws.
  10. Keep your LE M4 and save up some money for a rifle.
  11. It looks weird and this big welding can flake off by time and damage the weapon, I think. My link is flawless and has no trace of welding between.
  12. Thanks, it was good to know that the hammer must be cocked prior to install the bolt into the receiver, but does it matter if someone only takes the trigger group out or in the receiver when the hammer is down without installing the bolt next?
  13. Yes, the new M4 is now a safe queen for a while, and the 2003 model is going more to be in service for hunting and sports. I just like to have 2 pieces of the same guns I like most. One is for shooting and one for mint condition, and if the gun I use gets scratched or dented, it doesn`t matter.
  14. Yes, I mean just to take out the trigger group of the receiver. I have one other new purchased M4 stored in my gunlocker with the barrel and bolt not mounted on weapon. I did not assemble this M4 when I received it, but I released carefully the hammer through the ejection port with my finger avoiding to snap it onto the carrier. Now I want to take out the trigger group for a inspection and wonder if it can be done without charging the bolt in the receiver to cock the hammer.
  15. Thanks for the reply:). I have just one more question. Is it ok to disassemble/assemble the trigger group on this M4 shotgun with the hammer released, or would something catch against the receiver inside?
  16. I have a 2003 model Benelli M4. I am european and the M4 is a non us market version which came with a long magazine tube and a 2 position telescopic stock, and is equivalent to an 11701. This gun has only under 100 rounds through it, and has almost been a safe queen all the years. But for some reason I replaced a new 064J magazine tube spring, since the old one could weaken over the years. I discovered that both springs have the same wire diameter with about 45 coil count each, but the older spring was weaken down to approx 8 inches smaller than the new one, and that without being used or
  17. Thanks, I see the T1 is about 3.7 ounces with an integrated mount compared to the 11.5 ounces eotec 552 , but can someone use both sights without any particular higher mount on a Benelli M4 with the telescopic stock fully collapsed?
  18. Can I see through a T1 and a eotec 552 with a shouldered M4 and the collapsible stock fully retracted, or should I use a higher mount of some sort? I am more interested in the eotech 552 used by the British forces on their L128A1 shotgun, because they are powered on common AA batteries which you can find everywhere. One of my M4 has only the 2 position stock, and I want to use the T1 or eotec 552 on both settings.
  19. Option1 will give you 2364 (ft lb) energy, and option2 2753 (ft lb) energy. Foster slugs are prone to fragment on impact, but Benneke doesn`t. They perform well even after impact on windshields and cardoors. http://www.brennekeusa.com/cms/fileadmin/BrennekeUSA/Law_enforcement/user_upload/Dokumente/Brenneke_Maximum_Barrier_Penetration_Slug_Information.pdf
  20. No, it is gone, but I still have the box for the 2011 model which is labeled with part number B0028100 Carcassa for the receiver, and second label C0019302 Canna for the barrel. If you run the B0028100 number on google, it will refer to a NSN number for the Benelli receiver.
  21. Thanks and good to know about the barrels, but I think the forend on both guns will fit together. The older M4 is not a us model 11701 or 11703. Both of my M4S90 guns are european market versions with a fully collapsible recoil tube and a 7 shot full length steel magazine tube. The 2003 model has 2 gas ports, interchangeable choke, and has no american flag on it nor is it the 11703 model with 4 ports, and it came with a 2 position recoil tube. The later one has the 3 position tube. I think my 2003 model is equivalent to the 11701, but with a factory fully moveable telescopic stock an
