  1. Only the regular Nova can use the recoil reducer as the SN uses a tube through the stock for mounting.
  2. I don't have a rear apperature but I have two brand new front posts, I'd let one go for a decent price. Cody
  3. Thats what you guys get for using door knobs as bolt handles.
  4. Wow, I can say that be it buckshot, slugs or what have you I've never experienced this with any of my Benelli's. As you said it looks like a better grip and some muscle is needed to remedy the issue.
  5. I have never owned a Vinci but you have a problem if the trigger is resetting so fast that it's killing your finger.
  6. Just thought I'd share my .02 on the Smith and Wesson M&P. I had one in .40 with the factory CTC grips but only used them when it was on HD duty. The best way to describe a M&P is to say it's everything you love about a Glock minus what sucks about Glocks. The operating system is almost identicle but S&W used a better trigger assembly/linkage. My only real quirm with the M&P is the tool/grip pin as the tab that holds it in wears quickly.
  7. But at the same time the amount that you would need to overtighten to do damage is quite extreme. The M4 uses spring washers between the plate and bolt head so you aren't putting all the leverage on the threads unless you are going a full turn past tight.
  8. Mine was a little loose when I bought my M4 and I couldn't stand it and he notch in the stock is way to big for the post on the trigger group and will not hold it straight. So I ran that SOB home and it doesn't move one bit whether I am shhoting slugs, buckshot or beating people with it. I am very picky and the slightest deffect makes a gun undesireable to me so deciding to tighten it further was a hard decision. Both of the stocks I had on my M4 would fully hand tighten 180* of where I wanted it basically they tightened even with the sights and not the trigger group. So with the reciever between my knees I turned it the extra to line up. I would call it beyond snug but the trigger group goes in without a hitch. It no longer moves not even a mm no matter what, now this has got me thinking I made it to tight damn OCD.................
  9. On the Nova/Supernova you will need a sling swivel attachment.
  10. [QUOTE=KB Fab;130181]WOW!!! That collapsible stock for the SuperNova looks a little too "euro" for my tastes. Not to mention the fact that it also looks a little ghey. What do you expect from a part/gun made in Italy?
  11. One note though don't cut the spring it is long but sets alot shorter after a few uses. The factory spring is no where near long enough especially with the +3 tube. By the way TS if you need one let me know.
  12. Don't waste money breaking it in with buckshot or slugs just use some heavy field loads. I myself started both my M2 and M4 out using Federal Heavy Field loads and to date have three FTF's. If you can find a WalMart that still has some it's only $6-7 a 25rd box which is much more economical than buckshot & slugs.
  13. I got the part number for it somewhere and you can get them through Brownells.
  14. I wouldn't deal with problems on my $450 SNT let alone my $1500 M4. As for "mil-spec" until they come with a c-stock and static mod. choke they aren't mil-spec.
  15. Thought you wanted one for your new stock.......
  16. We aren't talking about any of those though are we. This is about joe civilian thinking that when the **** hits the fan that him, his cabinet full of guns & ammo and some body armor are going to make a difference. I live in a rural area and can tell you right now that if body armor is the difference between life and death I've alredy failed to keep my home safe.
  17. I'm sorry but in my opinion this is taking it a bit too far, if it comes down to needing body armor the only thing it's gonna do it delay the inevitable.
  18. Regardless of it's effect on operation if I found this under my handguards the **** would hit the fan.
  19. I got one but I haven't used it yet.
  20. Not a big help here but I know both of mine had notches but I don't remember how many.
  21. The real catch 22 here is that these are still available to anyone who can order LE parts from Benelli. The company selling these on Gunbroker is going to make 80% of what they spent on buying six by selling one. Maybe it's just me but I see this as a big **** you to people like us.
  22. Are you 100% sure it's the Benelli one they sell or did they send you there non-LE/military knock off?
