  1. Close to any other .223 with a 16" barrel.
  2. The only good thing about a DI AR15 is it's ruggedness, my MR1 does anything my S&W AR did but better. Sure if were talking combat situation I'd take the M4 but only because of parts availability. As for my comment the MR1 uses a modular plastic forend/handguard with the sight in it. I would assume if you had to introduce it to someones face it might break.
  3. The only plus to an AR versus an MR1 is that you could hit someone with it and still have a front sight.
  4. The barrels and magazines are coated and the reciver is anodized, as for barrel length the longest out there is the 18" they come with.
  5. You might also want to " check yourself " as you just responded to a thread that hasn't seen action for almost a year. With that being said I've also owned both and I will still never bag on the M2T. Sure the ID system is a bit more picky than the ARGO but I don't throw all the tacticool **** on my guns so i'll take either.
  6. US military uses the 18" on standard M4's butI'm sure they and other militaries also use the 14" in some situations. The 18" and 14" will both cycle decent ammunition the same. And you cannot use a folding stock on any Benelli semi-autos.
  7. You aren't serious are you?
  8. I noticed that........

  10. If you can deal with a bead sight or **** ghost rings and don't mind having to oil down an entire gun the 590 will fit the bill. Sure both fill the need for a SG but the Supernova is much more refined.
  11. What a lame joke, then again Benelli/Beretta's oil is responsible for 75% of the pollution here in the states.
  12. Me neither (with my M4 at least), not to mention I also live outside of town meaning my first line of defense is me, myself and I. After owning several configurations it's safe to say that 4" off the barrel end alone doesn't turn a SG into a CQB master key. Sure I would prefer a SG at all times when it comes to indoor situations. But if you need to manuver through several rooms especially with family members you need a weapon you can move and use with one hand.
  13. I shake my head every time I hear "it's made by Benelli" or see it written on the tag. It's the same story at tire shops that push lesser brands as built by Company "X" when they are just owned by Company "X".
  14. I still don't understand this short barreled shotgun fad what so ever.

    My Benelli MR 1

The piston wipes clean with a rag but the guide rod usually gets a clump of carbon on it.
  16. With how tight all of the M4 stocks are that I have seen a 10 year old girl could unscrew one.
  17. I cannot comment on who you dealt with but can say that shipping these days is just another way to make a profit.
  18. Given the cheap stuff will work fine Federal Truball slugs are perfect for a fixed choke gun like the SNT.
  19. Uh oh........................
  20. Two things stick out to me: 1- The wood in the picture looks very weird especially when you invert the colors. 2- Whats up with the barrel retaining nut? I'm not pointing any fingers and could be totally wrong too.
  21. When used as a bat...........

    snap caps

Springs that stay extended or compressed don't wear out it's the movement between extension and compression that wears them out.
  23. Well Beretta finally made a tactical model of there field guns called the TX4. Just figured i'd mention it beings that Benelli & Beretta are all one big happy family. Not my cup of tea but I am sure someone will see it as a must have.

    Steady Grip

What do you mean by butt plate?
  25. All that is dependent on what the barrel is statically choked to, some are Imp. cylinder while others are cylinder and some are even modified.
