  1. Because I look out for people who enjoy the same hobby as I do let alone those who also shoot the same guns. I wasn't targeting anyone here as the SNT C-stock is "rare" for now but bottom line is they are available and cost much less than they sell for.
  2. I just keep it in my Benelli case right behind me.
  3. It's just an internet forum full of people that can do what they choose so go figure.
  4. Corvette for the weekends and Silverado for work and daily use.
  5. I understood your point but my statement wasn't based simply on judging someone by there screen name. Of course there are people willing to pay alot of money for $170 items just look at the M4 C-Stock.
  6. I see this becoming a war but there is a Benelli +2 extension on my M4. I went with the +2 simply because I like the way it looks and it's a Benelli product. The "bump" where the extension starts adds a nice break up of the lines in my opinion. You are going to get the people that say "buy a full length because thats the way it's supposed to be". In either case don't go super cheap and they'll work the same.
  7. I drive a $60,000 car and I would still have to really think about buying a $400 C-stock for my $400 SNT. Especially when MSRP of said C-Stock is less than $180.
  8. I've owned three MR1's so far and must say that the out of the box fit and function was very good. But like you said I would imagine that there were a couple that needed something. I guess the way I see it is that back in November the MR1 was just out and parts may not have been in stock. But here it is eight months later and I bet there still not in stock yet. It almost makes me wonder whos to blame here Benelli USA or Beretta USA. Although Beretta usually takes care of me their CS in general is a bit lacking. Thier automated crap gets old and thats all before you wait on hold for a half hour.
  9. 1- Not all MR1's came with both rear apperatures the early ones only came with the small then around #800 they went to the larger one. The last models come with both large and small. 2- I too wanted some spare o-rings and have been waiting since November of 2009. 3- I won't bad mouth Benelli CS but I will say that it's pathetic that they don't have parts for a gun Beretta has been making for about 4 years.
  10. After trying breakfree on several hanguns, shotguns and rifles I belive it is better suited to lube my fathers rod & reel. The regular CLP may clean good but as a lube it well sucks. Oil your gun before a range trip and then check it out afterwords and you will find no oil where it gets hot. This stuff burns off with even minimal use and a full range trip will have you shooting a dry gun less than 100rds in. I have also tried out there LP which they say is suited for semi-auto & high rate of fire weapons. This stuff is a little thicker but still shows signs of quick burn off and lasts just a little longer than CLP. On my Benelli/Beretta stuff I use there regular Oilio and the Oilio with teflon.
  11. When using 2 3/4" shells the long Benelli extension and yours allow 7+1.
  12. Someone can correct me if i'm wrong but I belive you have two choices Benelli sights or Meprolight's, and the Benelli's are Mepro's too. As for differences the earlier rear sight was static versus the newer one being adjustable for both windage & elevation. Other than looking at the sight itself you can look at the date code which is a small box with two letters in it located on the reciever.
  13. It is 4+1 without the limiter using 2 3/4" shells.
  14. Although I'm not a fan of accessories the only real over kill is the huge logo Surefire uses. I'm all for brand loyalty but damn you can read it from 20 yards.
  15. To date I've had three different MR1's and had the same issue once and the only magazines I used were the Benelli one and Magpul P & E mags. When I had my first one it did the same thing a few times with either magazines and the same ammuntion. I can't sy for sure if this will work for you but here is how I solved my problem. When you get done loading a magazine tap it against your hand so all the rounds are seated. After making this normal practice I haven't had a malfunction. If this doesn't help you might want to make sure that the mag release tab and stop are where they are supposed to be.
  16. I just use the Benelli made soft case. Note there are two versions one that looks more like a AR case with multiple small pouches and one with larger pouches.
  17. If the barrel is decently clean if you lock the bolt back you can look down the barrel and see the ports.
  18. Put me back on your ignore list and shut the **** up. You aren't smoothing out tool marks on rifling it's as simple as setting a spring (two in inertia guns) and cleaning up the bolt rails.
  19. Which is exaclty what I said before when people went ballistic. You don't need to take it out and run 500 rounds of maximum mag loads through it. When I "broke in" my M2's & M4 I used Federal Heavy Field loads not $1 a round buckshot or slugs.
  20. What exactly do some of you believe you are breaking in by running hundreds of rounds through a M4 or M2? Any blemishes in/on mating surfaces dissappear after less than 20 rounds. Sure the springs set a little but thats about it and in most cases what won't cycle by round 10 never will. After owning several M2's and my M4 I've never done more than clean them up put them together and shoot em a few times. I can count FTF's on one hand between six guns and all but one were operator error. I'm sure certain members will think I am trying to stir the pot but I just don't see running that many rounds through a new gun anything other than wear.

The Nova/SuperNova extension will have a tube that goes on using a open ended barrel nut.

No problem, just make sure to post pics when you're done.
  23. I have a new front sight that I would make you a deal on.

Benelli extensions come with a longer spring and you will need it. If you find onr that doesn't have a spring order the Benelli M1S90 extended spring as it's the same thing.
  25. As for your questions: 1. Yes, but only to LE/MIL dealers 2. A LE/MIL dealer who knows the part # 3. Though they are similar to the C-stock found on the Beretta RX4 the pistol grips are different. 4. I would assume it's because not many agencies use the SNT versus the M4. 5. Just hope someone not out to make a buck sells a few to us. A M4 c-stocks MSRP is $200 and until two weeks ago that price was unheard of on the secondary market.
