Cody, i think you are right, i have a Tac-Star extension on my Super Nova and just ratchet that sucker down and it won't come loose .

Not sure what the 18.5" tactical barrel costs, but that is the only barrel i use for EVERYTHING.

Well, if you ever plan on going tactical for another shotgun, don't get the SuperNova 18.5" if you don't like a good kick, especially with a 3" slug. Given i'm small, i realize someone of a bigger stature probably wouldn't mind the kick as much as a small framed person. - Even tho it has a good kick i have the Comfor-tech stock, which helps tremendously. I could shoot with that all day long, and only be decently sore the next day.

It all depends on the situation at hand. The main thing you need to consider before buying an HD load is the structure of your home, Where your wife and kids will be located (if you have one of them or both) and the area you live in.

Maybe we should all take a breather and realize these are all opinions and maybe just nod your head to what someone else says, instead of making an argument? It's obvious many people think differently as far as HD loads. I don't see why some people are getting there undies in a bundle.

I will be using this on my shotgun for deer hunting, once zero'ed in, chances are i won't need a second shot. Which base is it that i need for my SuperNova? is it 93A for 423M?

That gun looks almost... Military-ish . It's quite the Bad*** looking hunting machine. I'm sure Benelli could modify it to meet the standards of a medium range sniper rifle for the military. . . Don't you think so?

All i have on my SuperNova is a tactical barrel, and i have had great success with slugs, being that it is smooth bore, you obviously only use rifled slugs. I have been using 3" Federal Power-Shok rifled slugs and can hit a tomato at 50 yards. I have the fixed rifle sights too. How far do you plan on shooting a deer at? 75 yards? 50 yards?

You have 7.5" of barrel on me, I'm not surprised you are able to do that to be honest.

Doesn't cost much but are they sturdy? Looking at getting a red dot and am in need of a mount. Any recommendations for mounts are welcome. Preferably not mesa tactical, i don't need the shell holder.
