My next gun is an SKS, being given to me by a family member who doesn't use it anymore.

I took my SN TAC out for a spin with some slugs and some 00. My first shot i hit a tomato at 50 yards with a slug (fixed rifle sights). Where i hunt for deer, 50 yards would be a pretty far shot considering it is really hilly and no space for long shots. Anyone else have a smooth bore short barreled Benelli that they are impressed with as far as slug accuracy? - 3" Federal Power-Shok rifled slugs. - 2 3/4" Federal 00.

The thing that sucks about a .50 is the price of Ammunition. Can't go out and shoot it for fun like i can with my rifle, where as i can buy 450 rounds of surplus for 140.00

If i were ever to get a flashlight for use in a life or death situation, or even just for camping, SureFire only.

Man it's hard to believe a .50 kicks less then a 12Ga slug, but the gun is so heavy that it isn't TOO hard to believe.

The choke on a shotgun "chokes" the end of the barrel, compressing your shot. Therefore creating a tighter pattern. Kind of like a nozzle on a hose. If you turn it on without a nozzle it will come out thick and not go very far, put a fine tipped nozzle on and the water will stay together and travel farther. Hope this helps.
