I will follow up with a warning: Sometimes they come through and are G2G, and sometimes they don't.

I question this. Benelli is a quality product, but I would dare say that if you took 1000 hammers made by Benelli, and 1000 made by Geissele, and compared them, the Geissele hammers would be of more consistent spec. That said, I love Geissele's products, the company, and freely admit that I would buy it just for the name alone and to be one of the cool kids

Without the barrel work its a waste imo.

Please check pm when you have a minute, m1014.
-
What is the going price? I might have one in a few weeks and am curious what to ask for it if I want it sold withing 1 week from posting (i.e. not "waiting" for some fool, but offering it at TMV). Stock would be a take-off, no package, "like new" condition.

Do the 11701 and 11707 receivers differ?
-
Can anyone post a picture of where the m1014 barrel meets the receiver, say, from an angle of about 45* looking to the receiver from the muzzle? Also if possible, picture of the inside of the receiver taken looking "straight up" from the position of the trigger group, with the group removed (looking dead on at the holes drilled for the rail)? Please and thanks!

WTS: New-In-Box Benelli M4 14" ENTRY LE SBS (model #11724)

I'm not op, but its on a form 3, and op says his daughter doesn't want it, wants something else, I think? -
Will yanking the tube off really make a Benelli 922r compliant? Do I have to actually get any on the gun, or just do it in the same room? Do I need video-proof in case the ATF requests it? Does my face have to be in it. This is a whole 'nother can of worms!

This is the first Zeiss Z-point I have ever seen on a weapon posted on an internet forum.

+1 I have had the same "load" pattern VERY differently (9 pellet 00 full-power buck) depending on who makes it. Ranging from pure crap, to very awesome. Everyone uses a slightly different buffer, shot hardness, cup/buffer system. See what YOUR GUN likes. I can tell you from experience with multiple M4S90's, though, that 000 buck through a MOD or looser choke patterns wicket tight. Out to about 50 yards, in a SHTF situation, you can count on at least one pellet making it into the boiler-room on a front-facing adversary. (Note, SHTF does not mean "normal self-defense". It means there's a zombie out there and you need lead on target--NOW!) I disagree on break-in, though. Not for function, necessarily, but because I refuse to trust a firearm until it has spat a MINIMUM of 500 rounds down-range without a single non-user induced failure. Me personally? I would rather use the cheapest crap I can find for that, and if it stomachs weak crappy birdshot without fail, it's G2G with buckshot most likely. I put a few hundred rounds of slug/buck through it just to make sure, though, but by and large, I feel warm and fuzzy when combat shotguns feed and cycle 2.75 dram target loads reliably.

From what I understand, Benelli is having these guns built by people who have BTDT and know 3-gun. Benelli is doing a lot of "nice" stuff lately!

I have reservations over the coating. I don't want to be labeled a "hater", because I don't have an H20, though. That being said... How does it perform on the ejection-port where shells nick it when ejecting (do they? They certainly nick 70RC anodized 7075...) What is gained? The M4S90's receiver is aluminum, and it's not like it's any great task to keep a light coat of CLP on the barrel and buffer tube inside/out. For the price, it's a great deal, but I rather question how the finish will look/perform (as a barrier) in 2 years of even square-range use. I would much prefer that they made it available without the finish, but understand why they cannot.
-
Okay, now I am seeing why the price. Good video!
-
Right now I am looking at about $250 in parts. What am I not seeing that justifies the $1000 price-tag over the regular M2?
-
What other mods justified the price? Looks nice, but I am curious what you got for the $$. I have not looked into them.
-
What does fully-loaded mean? That can vary by over half a pound comparing the neutered version of the M1/M2's to the full-length tubed M1/M2's, no?
-
You know, I have never shot an M2. How does it "feel" compared to the M4? I like the M4 because it's a brick out-house and recoil is nil. Comparison? How heavy is the barrel, comparatively?
-
I would probably consider a regular M2 customized by Benny Hill or someone else with what I PERSONALLY wanted/needed, after shooting the weapon with "just the basics" for a while, until I began finding things I wanted to change/liked the way they were. Probably cheaper, and more user-oriented. Just my .02

I'm most impressed with how well he controlled that HK53 on FA.

WTS: New-In-Box Benelli M4 14" ENTRY LE SBS (model #11724)

We're currently at 6 months. Damn you for not posting this before I bought my Arsenal SAM-7 AK, I would have done this before the AK. -
Slave pin is helpful, but not necessary. The punch, even, was not necessary for me. I just used a small allen wrench. No idiot-marks from it, but I DO suggest that people who are not familiar with this operation would find using a slave pin and correct punch a helpful idea. This is very simple to do, self-explanatory when you get all the stuff in your hands.

Understand there is a wait, most likely, but it is more than worth it for the flawless product.

922r, the new Benelli H2O, questions...and an answer?
Unobtanium replied to Unobtanium's topic in Benelli
Sure you can, they create laws for you to be found guilty of violating every day. However, I get your point. Buy with confidence imo. I have yet to see 922r prosecution regarding any Benelli product at any point in time.
