  1. No, I already have my M4S90. I was referring to my internet pr0n.
  2. Odd...I'm usually in front of my computer when things...pop up...
  3. Normal tolerance stacking.
  4. If you over-tighten it the trigger group won't fit in very easily. Tighten it until it is funky to install the trigger group*, and then back off until it's not. The trigger-group will keep the stock from doing more than just shifting a little anyways. Very intelligent design. *Please don't get stupid with it. Not saying anyone posting here would, but it just seems that a disclaimer is warrented when a tq-spec is not given.
  5. Ahhh, now that that other one is sold. Bump.
  6. He just PM'ed me and you should get a reply from him directly.
  7. I PM'ed him, but says he is offline.
  8. Get this one while the getting is good, guys, but don't think the bottom just fell out of the market for these. This is a 1-time type deal.
  9. I tend to use the ideal tool for the job if available. Anything else is inefficient. Just because you can change a spark-plug with a pair of vice-grips sometimes doesn't mean that it's a good way to do things.
  10. Remove snap-ring, un-screw threaded plug. Should be as simple as that, I hope Benelli did not use an adhesive on that plug, but I doubt it as they put a snap-ring in there. Redundancy yes, double-redundancy? Less likely.
  11. You couldn't pay me to own another 1911, much less SIG's 1911.
  12. From what I recall, Benelli's forced order-size is rather large as well.
  13. Dealer-cost on an M4 barrel. is around $530. Retail is around 8-900 or so. That is about all I am sure of.
  14. Yep. Pistol is at GGI getting trigger work/re-finishing prep done. Should ship to the finish shop Monday.
  15. --PM SENT--
  16. I have access to an M4S90 col. stock that can be sold for $650 CONUS. USPS MO Only
  17. We are using the OEM included piece. Did you throw yours away/lose it?
  18. Physics. Dot sights are always faster than irons, unless that iron is a bead, and beads aren't so easily adjustable.
  19. Taking general ass-hattery out of the picture, the weight and battery munching of the EOTech still disqualifies it imho. I currently own neither, so I don't have some emotional attatchment to either. Also, the whole button pushing thing and having to turn the EOTech off = fail as well, imho. T1 should always be on, always ready.
  20. Trijicon is an EXCELLENT company, for the M4, I would look at their RMR. The reflex sights like the RX-30 are inferior to a red-dot imho. However, the Aimpoint T1 is still the standard for this kind of setup.
  21. Yeah, if you never take it out of the box Iffytech is nowhere NEAR as robust as the Aimpoint. They drain batteries turned off, they break often according to postings on other forums by guys over in the sand-box. Often just from the rifle being dropped.
  22. This just goes to show that just because you CAN, doesn't mean you SHOULD. Mainly because stunts like this have an odd way of getting FUBAR in a hurry. With a garden-rat, it's not so big unless a game-warden sees it. They are the equivalent of the FBI for all common purposes when it comes to their authority, btw. However, when it's someone else holding a weapon that wishes you harm, I wouldn't be so keen on risking it. In fact, I wouldn't.
  23. My M4 has a 7-shot tube. No, Benelli will never make these in the US. The military model is a fixed MOD choke and comes with the collapsible stock and 7-shot tube. If you get a good tube, yes, better even. A lame tube, no. The M4 is built a lot better than the 590A1 and is semi-auto, not pump. Comparing the M4 to the Saiga is like comparing the AR to the AK.
  24. Most people I kill will be armed. Endless ammo supply. I don't know why people worry so much about it when they can pick up the spoils of war. As long as you are killing, you are arming yourself. When you stop killing, you are dead and won't need it anyways. That being said, I plan on picking up 500 rounds of GDHP or so.
