  1. Careful now, those are dangerous words now days...
  2. King Studs. I LOL.
  3. Only a hollywood actor has a shotgun that perfectly even 5' diameter patterns with buck at room distance.
  4. That is really kind odd, or so I thought until I got to the part where you lube it with junk lube. Get rid of the junk lube and your M4 will probably run stuff like mine does, 1145fps target loads and crap. No problems. Never. I can hold limply in 1 hand and it cycles remington #6 1oz low-brass @1290fps. TW25B Use LaRue MG Lube Slip2000 FP10 Weapon Shield CLP Regular CLP ANYTHING but WD-40 or Rem-Oil, lol. (listed in order of my preference)
  5. Dust-testing by the military proved wetter is better in the desert/sand/dust with regard to the M4 platform. Since the M4S90 also has a camming bolt, and a BCG that slides on aluminum "rails", and is also gas operated, and also has a buffer/tube/spring assy. I have drawn the conclusion that it will probably work better wetter, too...
  6. While no things worth having are ever free, money is not the only currency with which they are purchased.
  7. Yeah, ********. I have WAY more personal freedom in LA that people in CA. In fact, I can buy SBS/SBR/Silenced, etc. and they will actually help me fill out the paperwork down at the station. Something I plan on doing after I start work
  8. Or modification of charging technique. I can bind the BCG in the reciever if I charge the weapon pulling on the knob, etc. Now, it takes some doing, but it is possible to do this. Ergo, I would say that maybe the people who had issues with the larger knobs may need to review their method.
  9. Ergo, user-error is to blame, and not design, however, design can lend itself to the cause of user error. Since extra grip is what is desired as well as what is causing this error, it is up to the user to balance their requirements. Is this correct?
  10. From what I know of AZ, the heat is different than here in LA or in East TX (Dallas/Houston). It is more of a "dry" heat and a lot more tolerable.
  11. If you would be able to sell me a blem at a reduced price (I could care less about painted/lasered numbers being "smudged" or whatever), I would buy. Let me know!
  12. Can you please expound in detail on the underlined/bold part?
  13. You're welcome. Let me know when that rail is done and set one aside. In the next few weeks I will be making solid income and plan on purchasing a few things.
  14. Not really, and why stop there!? I have some old galvanized tubing that I have been looking for something to do with. I think I could make a barrel out of it, and I have an old piece of re-bar that I can make a Bolt from. I have some smaller re-bar for pistons. I think I can make an entire "MADE IN US" "upper" for my M4 if he will sell me the carrier he has come out with. I just need to buy a dremel and find someone to weld things for me.
  15. TW25B. Anything where you see shiny aluminum or slicked-up ano. If it rubs, it gets grease. (Except the pistons...). If it rotates, it gets oil.
  16. I tried some TW25B and it kicked ass> previously I used LaRue MG Lube, but the TW seems a little slicker actually, for this application. Only an idiot would run any firearm dry.
  17. They are VERY easy to round, as the nut Benelli uses is very soft. I suggest buying a couple of them for a few $$ at the same time you order your sights. It is a good back-up if you round 'em. I consider it a 1-time use as stated due to the nylon insert.
  18. I consider them Vaporware. They are on indefinite hold per Kip.
  19. Want to try the ADM LOW mount before you sell it? I'll let you have one in great shape for $50 shipped.
  20. Wow. Do I understand correctly, for a Nova Pump Gun? TRUE! Vaporware. I'm glad I don't own a SNT. I would be poor right about now.
  21. Kip is hardcore OCD. This worries him, but it's good for us (except the ETA's). I spoke with him today about the Benelli Ti bolt. He made a lot of Ti bolts, but after multiple times being inserted/taken out of the assembly, when using a jeweler's loupe, he could see markings on them. This would not do for Kip, so he is making a 2-piece assembly from A2 tool steel and Ti alloy, fastening them togather with the same adhesive used in jet engines, and has purchased a heat-treating apparatus that will allow the digital algorithmic control of the temperature of this treating machine. It will be the best bolt-handle known to man.
  22. Never bothered to do that.
