The LaRue mount is what went, not the rail. I was using a LaRue MRD at around 3-5oz or something I think. EOtech's are pigs.
-
Careful, that could land you in jail. Call Benelli right away. Warrenty or not, they will want that gun I bet.
-
Wow! An M4S90 for a successful job-hook up. That sounds like a good deal.
-
Both Duggan and I tried this without OEM Benelli rails and both of us had a heavily damaged LaRue mount to show for it inside a dozen or so shots.
-
The KAC mount has never been tested in the "LOW" configuration, and I am not sure it has one. The only guys testing them run them on KAC carbines and other stuff like that, not shotguns. Therefor, if you want to know how it works, you have to pays your money, because last time I called KAC and asked about a product they didn't know **** about it. THey couldn't tell me how many, and what number of rib rail-panels would fully cover my KAC RAS M5. Unless I got the one employee who is a dick, they are clueless.
-
Your hi-jack has nothing to do with me finding or not finding my handle. All is good. The people who have these handles obviously aren't giving them up even at the $85-100 price-range. It is tempting to kinda be a dick if I get a dozen or so of these handles. Being as they are the last dozen of their kind, I could pretty much ask what I wanted for them and in a few months they would all be gone. Tempting. meh

Keep in mind some people run the LaRue on the OEM Benelli rail and claim no damage. I think they tighten it way beyond the design parameters though.
-
Banned for importation IIRC. It's nothing special though.
-
run an x300. Its mount is perfect for the split rails.
-
GG&G's mount is too high, and KAC's is an unknown of $200.

Here is a complete lower using quality parts for $350: http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-Lower-Receiver-Groups-M4-AR15-s/117.htm Here is a $590 upper: (after including BCG and carry handle) http://www.bravocompanyusa.com/BCM-16-Mid-Length-Upper-Receiver-Group-p/bcm-urg-mid-16.htm Handgaurds are cheap (if you get regular ones, FF railed handgaurds are still only a few hundred $$), and you can slap an optic on it when funds allow. This will make a cheap, but high-quality rifle for you. It's not the most "high-speed", but it will do nicely and go bang every time. Much superior to Bushmaster/ DPMS/ Armalite half-ass iffy-staked crap. I threw this togather for you in literally under 5 minutes. If you spend a few months on www.ar15.com on the EE, you can do this for cheaper/better.

Are you an individual or a dealer?

But can you truly trust something with just a magazine of ammo through it? It took 200 rounds for my Wilson Combat to mess up. When I got it back, it was another 100 rounds or so to mess it up again. When I got it back again, it took about 80 rounds to uncover the next failure. All-in-all, I burned through over 400 rounds (of RA45T at $0.50 a round...NOT HAPPY) before I decided that the pistol was unacceptable and shipped it back for a refund. My point is, you need to put AT LEAST 500 rounds through your weapon trouble-free before you can trust it. Preferably more.

No, I just liked the Brownells aluminum follower. I thought the OEM was aluminum, and was correct, but I still like the Brownells, and I think it gives me a mm more room, lol. If I am a step closer to being 922r compliant, all the better, but that was not my motivating force.
-
When I put mine in, I am pretty sure it measured 33". I removed it today (about 200 or so rounds later) to replace my follower with an aftermarket one. The spring now measures 32.25". For comparison, the M1S90 spring I got from Brownells went from 39" to 34" in about half that many rounds.

Then don't shoot your M4. Shooting it chips and rubs the anodizing off of the inside of the reciever something fierce.
-
I think it costs $200+
-
No. I kept the M4, lol. I am just going to wait for the rail Kip is coming out with so I can run LaRue as I am a huge LaRue fan. I used the $$ to support my lifestyle of debauchery. The ADM mount is good, but like most QD mounts, the ADM does scratch the rail a tad. No big deal and it never affected zero, just a heads-up in-case you are OCD or something. I am keeping this M4

+1 If you have found a silicon implant...er...insert... capable of swelling on its own, Tucker needs to know about it!

Not at all, I am just physically capable of beating off only so many times a day. I have to find SOME way to amuse myself! Also, there was no weakness in the healthcare debate. Our POS senator only held out to get an ammendmant to the bill giving our state $100m for our current failing govt. healthcare plan. Congress is controlled by the democrats (and 2 independants that always hug their sack) and they stood united. Things are VERY ugly.

I sold my T1. The buyer just wanted the stock T1 mount. *I just used blue locktite. No clue what this orange stuff it came with is.

There are those who shift power away from the people, and towards the government, and there are those who shift power from the government, and towards the people. In our countrys current situation, the latter are clearly more needed.

Here's an idea! Leave and join a free state

Very nice. Good to be wrong!
