I think that one of us is confused then, because it sounds to me like you are assembling a magazine and not re'building it. A re-build involves the same (pre-ban) mag-body. An assembly involves all-new parts, which is what you are telling me you are doing.
-
Well, I will try it. Every shotgun is different and we will see how mine reacts.
-
If I can keep the pattern togather
-
You can't have owned a PMAG pre-ban. Thats the point.
-
A PMAG is not a pre-ban mag. No-Go. I belive it is the body of the magazine that is the important component.

I have an ADM LOW mount that I will sell you for $65 shipped. Very little usage.
-
Maybe because unlike Duggan you can legally own them
-
Not much, you?
-
IF...I get one Still unsure yet.
-
Oh...now I have lots of friends I will buy as many as he will sell me and then sell them at that price + $10 for shipping USPS Priority and my troubles. I think that is more than fair.

I tracked the co-owner of PMT to Afghanistan and contacted him. In 2 weeks he will be rummaging through his inventory state-side and we will see...

As in, before the rails are done which still need another machining operation, or as in, will be off to the finisher along with the rails?

No solvent is necessary usually, just buy a Tornado brush.

A little update on the company. I have since become obsessed with procuring this product. During my research I have determined that the (former?) co-owner, Steve Southerland, is currently in Kabul Afghanistan. He is a private contractor and has taken up the hobby of photography rather seriously. I am further attempting to figure out if he can provide me with this product from some secret stash. Otherwise, whoever sells me theirs will get $85 for a $54 part, and if you don't have a replacement handle I will send you the OEM one.
-
I want one. A lot. I am offering $85 for yours as long as it shows only the normal signs of wear (You didn't drop your M4 and it land on it or something). PM me with offers.

Tested Flite control again. It was still a little erratic out of the MOD choke. It shows enough promise that I ordered an IC choke to try it out of. I was getting a few fliers with the MOD choke and think that due to the thicker wad in the FC round, the MOD constriction is excessive. It was designed for cylinder or IC, so we will see how it does. At 50m I was still getting 4-5 hits on a 14x22" target. Not shabby. With the IC choke I hope to tighten things up more. This round does not depend on choke at all to function, so I have gone with IC so as to perform optimally with slugs. I also noticed a bit of a donut pattern shooting 3" 000 through the MOD choke. Maybe IC is the way... ...we will see.
-
Yeah, but for $2 a shot I expected it to be a bit cleaner.
-
Blast. I would have payed shipping.

Recoil is mild for a slug, no build-up in the bore. Powder is DIRTY! though. Action is full of it. Nasty. Foul. I was suprised.

Don't listen to them. The weapon is now worthless and useless and you must send it to me for proper disposal

Not at all. Benelli of course verified what my letter claimed. I wouldn't think they would do otherwise. I still feel that it expedited matters. It sure saved me money as all I had to send in was the barrel assembly to get the new barrel assembly vs. sending/insuring my entire M4. I was not implying that Benelli would blindly follow a letter, but the more detailed you can be about the problem the better. My letter served me well. New barrel assy. within 14 days door-to-door, and the new one was perfect. Problem solved.
-
Only shot 5 of them, 1 into an oak tree that it buried itself into, and the other 4 on-target. I should have shot the shotgun some more before testing to get settled in, but I did not. The first 2 went wide, and the next two were in a 2" group dead-on. Testing was at 50 yards. I feel that this is inconclusive as I was still fidgeting around for the first 2 shots. Anyways, I have 5 more to test later. My barrel is still just fine btw.

They arrived today. It's ****** and raining. I don't care. I MUST! shoot them!
-
They will only replace a part if it is the last option available to them. Simple economics. My case was somewhat unique as I did all the trouble-shooting for Benelli and sent them the letter, they just verified and then sent the new barrel assy.
