    Kip "Still Alive..."

OMG!! how in god's name did you do this to yourself?? looks terrible! get well soon!
  3. no you don't, it will stay on forever! the sidearmor rail sits a little higher than the standard rail, and i tried it with paper today as well! you can still see the front dot, but not really well. i'm gonna go with the 6mm channel, it's smaller than the previous one anyway, which was about 8 to 9 mm.
  4. another question: now they offer the choice between cut-out-channel rail or "in spec" rail. with the first version of the rail it would be pretty hard to see the front sight without a cut out channel. ms costa said that it is possible to see it without the channel, though it might be a little obscured. anyone with the NEW version and without the channel could post some pics?
  5. heres the link to the new one: http://www.sidearmor.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=28_30&products_id=70 damnit i want one.
  6. ok, so it's best to go with the closed cell foam? now i just need to figure out which case to get, or if i want to fit my pistols in an extra case. btw whats the difference between hardiggs and the normal pelican cases?
  7. hi, i'm looking for a hard case for my benelli m4 and some spare sparts of the nelli. now i need a hard case that i can (easily?) adapt to my needs, f.e. the micro-t1 on the nelli, sling, weaponlight etc. what would you recommend? i only know pelican as a trusted company so far. and what about foam? it's rather simple to customize it, but i've heard bad things about guns rusting when stored for a longer period... any truth to that? what are other options, if foam's no good? thanks for sharing your wisdom!
  8. just as a sidenote, B&T is a Swiss company, not Swedish.
  9. i'll definitely get a couple of those on my next order from brownells i think! maybe a rubber grip insert as well, as i assume the rubber gets worn over time easily.
  10. @miketoo ??? please remind me where there are O-rings in the m4? just can't recall it right now... extra pistons might be an idea, but where do i get them? does benelli CS sell them to the end user?
  11. great! even the second pair of sights from tooltech? that would have been really quick!
  12. see http://pistol-training.com/archives/1406.
  13. hey TS, good point, that sounds quite familiar to me! i'm doing fine, right now i'm rather busy torturing people who need restorations at the dental clinic. but it's still fun, at least for me as i'm quite broke right now, i'm only planning to purchase a handgun, more specifically the HK45 tactical model. looking forward to shooting it for the first time already! how's your business doing? the german summer has finally started, today we had 98 fahrenheit! assuming in Texas it's even hotter, you must be making a fortune! any news from the things you ordered for me?
  14. damn, those zombies must have been hungry!
  15. hey folks, i'm wondering what parts of the M4 fail first, if ever? buying a second M4 is too expensive for me right now, so i want to make sure i got all i could possibly need if any part of the M4 fails. what parts would that be? who's got 200k rounds through his nelli, and what did he replace ? xamoel

    H20 Tube Ext

    get the nordic comp extension!
  17. keep in mind the M4 is also gas operated. that makes it more reliable when the gun is equipped with aimpoints/sling mounts/shell carrier.
  18. strange, i have never EVER seen one. obviously they are not very active in this subforum. or they have a policy not to talk to others....
  19. hey, we wanna know the ultimate bolt-release button solution too! what did you get?
  20. is it at least worth it? is it stable and strong enough to support that heavy weapon?
  21. @ unobtanium: does the choke-tube grease really prevent it from falling out the barrel? and if so, will this: http://www.shanghailoctite.com/template/ying/pdf/docs/8151-EN.PDF do the same?
  22. no problem. yeah, the sidearmor + micro t-1 seems quite common round here. as it truly is a great combination.
  23. there you go: sorry for the bloody bad quality, that's supposed to be a no.ia with 5 megapixels. looks like sh.t to me.
  24. yes. it's a nordic comp +2 tube, and i've got to say, the quality of nordic comp really impresses me!
  25. well, how about a full length tube AND a +2 extension? thats at least my setup, and it's working pretty nice!
