my Blueforcegear VCAS padded cobra is going to arrive any day, so 2 point for me. it's a heavy weapon, so a 1 point is a "pendulum of pain", as StrangerDanger put it wisely.

Johnson rods? Never heard of it? I'm kind of planning for WTSHTF, especially considering wait times for small parts here in germany. So you say hammer, hammer spring, extractor, firing pin, firing pin retaining pin, ejector, disconnector, mag spring, maybe a piston. Did i forget something?

holy crap, that M4 looks enormous! if you don't mind the extra weight, why not add a nordic components +2 extension to the mag tube?

i wonder why they didn't keep the dual sling loop in the final design? looks quite sturdy to me, unlike that wobbly POS we've got now.

so they are not from an official benelli site? i just wondered, because i've never seen this variation before. the sidearmor rail system is attached to the barrel with a barrel clamp, which is specifically designed to fit the older sling attachment.

exactly. where did you find those? i suppose it's some sort of update. it also looks like you can't attach the sidearmor rail clamp to it.

how new are these pictures? if you look closely, i think the front sling attachment is a new design? mine can be rotated, this one looks to have one loop on each side?

well 14 rounds are a LOT! i thought the 8 round shell holder of the sidearmor rail system was massive, but 14? might be just a bit too heavy... besides, you can't really use your normal stance, a VFG is probably a must, as you have no room for your hands on that thing if there are rounds in the holder.

i've got a question regarding the shell holder: is there enough space between the top rail and the shell holder for a QD mount? i tried with the MK1 sidearmor, and f.e. my aimpoint comp m4s QRP2 mount was sitting too low, scratching the shell holder. did that change in the new version?
