  1. @ KB FAB What kind of lube are you using? Looks like milk!
  2. What will be the advantage of his trigger compared to the factory trigger?
  3. It's recommended not to over tighten it due to the aluminium threads getting ripped out, right? I tightened it only hand-tight, but with some force I might have gotten it a little tighter, but I didn't wanna risk it. When uninstalling the Mk I Sidearmor rail I was pleasantly surprised that the threads weren't damaged at all, it seems Benelli did use some quality aluminium after all.
  4. @ BigHat I've read that TNVC started to produce a civvie IR laser, great effort imho. Where do you (or would you) recommend buying NVD? I remember seeing those combo thermal/NV monoculars for sale somewhere (I'm thinking it was ownthenight.com) around 20k, but I can't manage to find them anymore. @ Topic: .22 is the way to go for prolonged periods of SHTF. Of course having a 5.56 carbine and a shottie is always nice, but for "everyday" work, like hunting etc, get a few thousand shots in .22, and you're good to go. @SgtCathy: Why specifically a pump .22? I thought there were some decent semi-auto .22 rifles out there nowadays? €: scratch ownthenight.com, it was ATNcorp.com, their fusion-imaging system.
  5. You're lucky then, I haven't had the chance to try one of these out, but I love the concept, having the best of both worlds. The price will surely go down, but I fear that civvies won't even be allowed to buy them, just like f.e. the PEQ-16A or similar.
  6. I'd like to try out the GG&G T-1 mount with flip-up covers. I really like the idea of the extra protection, even though it might not be necessary.

    M4 Night Sights

Check out http://www.lynxsystems.eu/index.html as I posted earlier. Not available yet though.
  8. Good point about the FLIR, but the latest generations of NVDs feature a combination of thermal and standard night vision. Let's hope that technology will be available soon to civvies.

    M4 Night Sights

Everybody has aimpoints, but you need a backup.
  10. Good idea actually. I really wonder why noone makes some decent quality night sights for the M4, given that it's been around for quite a while now.
  11. Are the Mepro front sights at least brighter than the rear?
  12. How bout reading what various other have already posted in this very thread? You can send your factory sights to Tooltech Gunsight, where Trijicon night sights are installed in your factory sights. Costs $255.
  13. If someone goes the Tooltech Gunsight way, could they please report back on the quality of their work? And is someone interested in making some extra money, by getting those Tooltech-manufactured M4 sights and send them to Germany?
  14. My Benelli manual DOES feature a diagram. In 5 languages. Try brownellsDOTcom, the have it all.
  15. Now you guys have managed to scare her off! No more posts from her!
  16. I've been thinking about getting one of those high-quality hunting crossbows, but I've come to the conclusion that a simple .22 rifle is far easier to carry, with about ten times the ammo of a crossbow and more deadly and precise on longer ranges. So no crossbow for me.
  17. Oh, I didn't say I never wrote about that, but not in this thread. And believe me, I don't find it the last bit embarassing to let everyone know that I have an Aimpoint Micro T-1 backed up with night sights. Maybe you can explain why a great quality aftermarket charging handle is not something worth buying? In you infinite wisdom you can surely tell me, why that tiny OEM handle has to be kept. A C-stock, WOW, how mall-ninjaesque. As years have passed, collapsible stocks have become the standard of ARs, and I enjoy it on my shottie even more, as not many shotguns feature them. Where did you read that I have a tactical light yet? I don't, as I'm not allowed one where I live. Though if it was legal, it'd buy one right away. Nothing embarassing about that, me thinks. A mod choke with good looks? OH NO! You might just get your head out of your a*ss, and acknowledge that the time of double-barreled shotguns is long gone, along with your youth and virilty. Sorry paps. Oh, and you really shine in using the search function. Did your grandkids (Strange that Darwin didn't kick in here) teach you that?
  18. Did I write anything about shell carriers or anything else of your mall ninja stuff? You should get your reading glasses, grandpa. Sure, take your trusted ol' pump, you probably couldn't even hold a normal M4 with your arthritis.
  19. Great that you are here longer than me, hope it makes you feel proud. Though you obviously didn't learn much from hanging around here. Lol, you stated that you'd rather use a pump for HD than a semi-auto. I wish you the best of luck, don't die tryin.
  20. @m4p226n: You really seem to have profound knowledge of the Benelli M4, f.e. how many malfunctions are related to the weight of the gun. Are you really so ignorant? The M4 is a gas operated shotgun, and it isn't affected by weight. And are you honestly trying to tell us, that you will outshoot the M4 with a pump? I'd love to see you try. No matter what pump you bring up, and no matter how fast you can pump it, the semi auto will win. How about you start trolling somewhere else?
  21. I agree with SD, if you intend to stay in one place, why not have the Benelli ready, but when having to walk a lot, I'd go with an AR. More ammo, lightweight, long range, high precision.
  22. These are symbols of the test firing that all European firearms have to go through.
  23. I PMed him a while ago, seems he is very busy. Should be in Vegas atm. Did you see these already? http://photos.carriercomp.com/GalleryThumbnails.aspx?gallery=322243
