  1. Merry Christmas to you and your family as well. Blessings...
  2. The Benelli M4 is capable of firing 8 rounds in less than 1 second do to the Argo system. In of itself it is a very aggressive weapon. Installing a Limb Saver may be an effective means in alleviating some of this recoil. I'm all for modifying and experimenting with any improvement that may help with an individuals needs for their specific platform. You may also want to try the Push-Pull method of firing the weapon. Pushing force against the pistol grip away from your shoulder while pulling force into the fore grip towards your shoulder. The indoor range where I fire my weapons allows me to rapid fire. I am required to use Sabo slugs. I will typically fire 8 rounds as quick as I can squeeze the trigger, reload and repeat rapid fire in sets of 4 and let weapon cool. I will fire just under 200 Sabo slugs with this format on any given range day having no affect from the recoil. Using this Push-Pull format allows me to have control of the recoil instead of the recoil controlling me. (I tried to upload a video with my Benelli M4 in action but cant seem to get it uploaded) Best of Hope...
  3. Here is a pic of my rear C stock mount. No drilling. Very strong mounting platform. Mounted for several years under heavy use. Blessings...
  4. I will second that on the Tipton. I've had mine for about 5 years. For the money there is nothing that it cant secure from hand guns to long guns. Blessings...
  5. Does California not allow the Telescoping stock?
  6. Thank you again for all your responses. Blessings...
  7. I get it gentleman and believe it or not I do have a teachable spirit. Some of what you say is true on how I really feel about the law. The law is the law. Part of my thinking was after market companies are manufacturing sub standard parts to sell based on everyone's fear of a law that has never been tested when it comes to the Benelli M4. Again this was not the intent of my question. As far as the 3 year old comment, how do you think I feel when I have to repeat the same question over and over and getting these comments back from left field. Here we go again: DOES ANYONE KNOW OF EVEN ONE SCITUATIN WHERE ANYONE EVER HAD THEIR BENELLI M4 CONFISCATED,BROKEN DOWN AND PROSECUTED FOR NON COMPLIENCE OF 922R UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE WETHER IN THE COMMISION OF A CRIME OR NOT ???? I know the consequences of not complying with a federal law. If the federal government wants to prosecute someone for having a collapsible stock or a 7 round magazine tube on there weapon so be it . I GET IT!!!!!!!!! This was still not answering my initial question. The question gentleman has since been answered by several people. Blessings
  8. If you like that rail you may be interested in the B&T Quad Rail . I have this installed on my Benelli M4. Impeccable quality.
  9. Thank you as always. This is a constructive answer that I can live with. I've enjoyed this debate with all. Blessings
  10. "Dude", I'm 56 years old and would prefer a little more respect than the level of "Dude". I will start out by giving you the level of respect of "Sir" I am the OP of this blog. It's got away from the original intent of my question. It appears that I have the answer to my question and the answer is no. There most likely have never been added charges as you say or any prosecution in regards to specifically, the Benelli M4 not being 922r compliant. I was simply asking if anyone had one example of this happening. I did not realize that I would have struck such a nerve.
  11. Yes sir I do know the law. Where I am confused or frustrated is all the endless Hype on being 922r compliant. Removing perfectly engineered parts form a weapon based on a law that has never been enforced, as far as I know, on the Benelli M4. It is most certainly a choice. I guess where I get frustrated is the tone of those particular blogs makes it seem like if you don't remove these parts by the numbers then you will somehow be at great risk of federal prosecution, This is simply not true nor should it be insinuated or implied . Our government on a state and federal level will not even enforce our immigration laws which are so blatantly violated every day. I don't mean to get off topic. I most certainly appreciate the education on switching out parts by the numbers and making a conscience choice to comply or not but lets keep the consequences realistic if you choose not to.
  12. Where I get confused is in the fact that I purchase a Benelli M4 because I want , as far as I'm concerned, the finest semi automatic defense shot gun made. The base model weapon is 100% legal in this great country of ours. I would like to add a Benelli full length magazine tube and a Benelli collapsible stock. After all it is a Benelli M4 and I would like to keep it all Benelli. Now I have to remove X number of Benelli parts which make the Benelli M4 the great shotgun that it is and replace with US parts. I am probably fairly certain that a Benelli M4 has been used in the commission of a crime at some point in time or been on a property where a crime has been committed and confiscated by the police. I still find it hard pressed that a local authority is going to call a federal agency to come and strip that weapon down part for part to see if its compliant. Even in that last scenario can anyone tell me if there has been anybody in our great country that has ever been prosecuted under any circumstance at all, anywhere, anytime for not having a Benelli M4 922r compliant. I think that we all know the answer to this question. As for me and my Benelli M4, it will stay 100% Benelli and I will have no problem sleeping at night. Go Astros !!!!
  13. That's kind of what I thought .
  14. Probably a silly question but here it goes. Of all the sites that talk about 922r compliance, has there ever been a Benelli owner that has had there weapon confiscated by a federal agent or any other agency, broken down and had weapon parts checked part for part in order to gain compliance? I'm sure there could be a lot of "what if" answers. I'm looking for a direct answer to the question. Blessings...
  15. I just received in the mail today a brand new Surefire M80 fore end replacement from the factory. It replaces one that I was having trouble with. Surefire Tech Support deemed my old one defective and unable to repair. Although part is no longer available Surefire told me they had several in stock and would send me a new replacement. I have since purchased the B&T quad rail so no longer need the Surefire M80. I am putting this up for sale. I am asking $300.00 to include shipping. Blessings... " SOLD "

  17. Looks like your making a very fair trade. You will be getting some really nice fore grips. I have the B&T Quad Rail on mine but its nice to know that these manufactures are out there. I really enjoy these sites and appreciate what I learn from Y'all. Blessings...
  18. The reason for the M1014 combat shotgun to have the collapsible stock is to accommodate the extra equipment of the military personal i.e.; flack vest and body armor as well as close quarters combat. It allows the weapon to be configured to an overall shortened length of 35" if need be. I run a Aimpoint Comp 4 red dot sight. My sight configuration, as you can see from the attached pic, sits high on the rail. I was able to raise the cheek weld on the adjustable stock to accommodate the height of the sight. I have no problem locating the red dot in the glass 100 % of the time with this custom height configuration I prefer the middle position for home defense . (Slightly shorter than full stock) . I hope that you have as much enjoyment in building your M1014 as I have and continue to have. Enjoy firing it even more at 8 rounds in aproximentally 1 second. Blessings...
  19. Looks like your on your way to building your M1014. Great job!!! Attached is a chart showing the different Benelli configurations. The Benelli M1014 incorporates the 3 position collapsible stock . Attached is a pic of my Benelli M1014. Best of Hope on your M1014 build. Blessings...
  20. "Thank you for your support from Houston Texas" Blessings
  21. Testing to see if able to post.
  22. I had notified B&T of issue. I received a call from the CEO of B&T USA, Tim who was calling from Switzerland. An interesting call at best. I was told that there appeared to be a communication problem in the instructions on what the term "Tighten screw firmly" meant. I was told that I had overtightened the screw. I was then asked; "Why do I want to remove the rail"? When I stated for cleaning purposes as well as being able to remove an after market part to put M4 back to original state if need be. The term "aftermarket" seemed to touch a bit of a nerve as I was told that although he understood my view, this part is not considered aftermarket as B&T builds and sells their weapons for Law Enforcement from there factory and are sold with parts attached therefore not making them aftermarket parts. I was told not to use the Allen wrench that came with rail do to the fact it may be sub-standard. I was told once I was able to remove screw to email him the picture of the screw and he would send another. With all this being said, Tim and I had a very good 20 minute conversation. There seemed to be a real concern of the issue. I was able to drill out screw, install an extractor and very easily remove screw. I am very pleased with the quad rail. It really is engineered to a perfect fit. Thank you again for the recommendation. Blessings...
  23. Just goes to show how much ignorance surrounds us even in a time of such catastrophic events. Oh well. I guess I should have PM'd Rasyad. I'm learning... Blessings...
  24. Sorry for the delay. I work for the city of Houston . As a 1st Responder we have been working 12 hour shifts, 7 days a week due to Hurricane Harvey. ( Please keep all in prayers ). I was able to purchase the B&T Quad Rail through a company called Hollowtrail Armory. They directly deal with B&T USA who directly deal with the oversees manufacture of the Quad Rail. Blessings
