  1. I'm still a bit of a noob to shotguns. Is there a reason that they don't make auto-loading standard on factory shotguns? S.R. mentioned the A5 has it. I don't get it. Safety concerns?
  2. To me the J-Kenny seems better because you don't have to modify the trigger housing. However, they say they accomplish this by using a "unique combination" of springs. This makes me a little leery. I just think if they introduce more springs, more to go wrong? It's not clear if these are additional springs to their proprietary lifter or if they just replace OEM with "unique" springs.
  3. Wow! I think I’ll sell it. It’s never been fielded. Lol. I didn’t know that this was such a huge issue. I also agree that the design is poor when it comes to mounting. A definite cost/model savings move for sure. I wonder why Mil/Leo would even entertain these. Anyone know if there is a plug and play limb saver for the PG oem stock? I might go back to that. I’d love to shave an 1 1/2” off it.
  4. Speedy but very interesting. I’d like to know more as well.
  5. I'm hoping the "spring washer" is a newer addition to the stock kit. Hopefully this will mitigate the loosening?
  6. I remember reading about not using loctite so I did not. My instinct was to definitely use some blue 242. How big of a problem is the stock loosening issue?
  7. I got it. It fits uncomfortably tight. I didn’t want to force it but I was able to remove and reinstall the trigger housing. Very tricky. So far I don’t feel warm and fuzzy about this product.
  8. I was reading the instructions again. They say to install the trigger housing before installing the stock. Don’t tell me I have to break out a screw driver and remove the stock every-time I want to take the housing out.
  9. Has anyone had challenges with the fit of their Urbino stock on their M4? Its not the stock material behind the trigger guard. There is plenty of room and a small gap there. It seems like I can’t slide the trigger housing back far enough. The little retaining tab on the back of the housing doesn’t appear to seat in the stock where the recess is. Its been nothing but a headache with this stock. The first one the grip was moderately damaged. I exchanged it. This new one is better but still a small amount of grip damage. Now the fit problems.
  10. Thanks for sharing. That’s exactly why I’m trying to “take the temperature” . I am also curious about the FFT springs. It’s interesting to gauge how many use springs other than oem.
  11. Just wondering how many people are using aftermarket springs in their M4 trigger housings. FFT, TTI and even A&S has a safety spring, (hammer spring, trigger spring, carrier spring disconnector spring etc) Curious what results have been had. Good, bad or indifferent.
  12. Does anyone know what the troops get for a GI cleaning kit? I am assuming it's one of those Otis deals.
  13. These just went live for pre order yesterday. https://www.benelliparts.net/store/p30/Benelli_M4_922r_Trigger_Package_Kit.html The last run apparently sold out. Though I haven't heard of anyone that's had experience with them.
  14. You might be right. The idea popped in my head when I dug up an old thread. Somebody used heat shrink tubing on theirs. Unfortunatlley, the pics are no longer active. I would have liked to see how it looked.
  15. Anyone Plasti Dip their GG&G bolt release? I'm thinking this could work out horribly bad or be amazing. I'm hoping it would prevent receiver scratching and the rubberized coating might be nice.
  16. This does get confusing. Mine came with a modified as well. However, on the Benelli website they say not safe to shoot slugs through chokes tighter than improved cylinder or cylinder. I thought to myself then why would they ship the M4 with a modified?
  17. That’s not a huge difference. Good to know. Thank you!
  18. That explains it, thanks. I was looking at the whole assembly for $79.00 or whatever it was. I thought sheesh they have it figured out.
  19. Aren’t those for Remingtons? Or, it doesn’t matter. Those are pretty expensive for Velcro and elastic material.
  20. Does anyone know roughly what the weight difference is between the OEM & A&S housings?
  21. Art makes great quality products. He has a very loyal following on another forum.
  22. Does anyone have an OEM black M4 false magazine extension that they want to get ride of? I'm sure a few of you must have some take offs hanging around.
  23. I’d like to know what Benelli alters and what parts they use on these to make them 922R compliant.
  24. Sorry, it’s been a little crazy at work. There is a little bump or roll where the stock meets the back of the receiver. Its hardly noticeable once it’s installed. i was thinking $115 shipped.
