I think it would sit too high to get a proper cheek weld. That being said, I’m sure you could shoot in a more heads up fashion but that’s not typically how one would shoot a shotgun.

Also in for pics.

Got my CarrierComp tube put on yesterday. It did not come easy. After buying a heat, and mapp torch I still couldn’t get it off by hand. Had to use my neighbors vice, and a small pipe wrench to pop it loose. No way it was coming off by hand. I was getting frustrated and with a little help from or resident expert, StrangerDanger, I was able to get it. The carriercomp tube is perfection and i highly recommend them. I also have the FFT forearm so with the tube and follower I’m 922r compliant

Where did you buy the 7rd tube from? I just put one in mine yesterday from Carrier Comp.

I buy Trulock chokes through MPC as you get free shipping. They have several options but the flush ones are much cheaper than the extended so I went with flush for now. Only reason I’d go extended is to protect the barrel but that’s likely a non issue. http://mpcsports.com/benellistandard.aspx

I put in a flush Trulock cylinder. Seemed to shoot slugs accurate and my flite control buckshot patterned very nice.

What bag are you using for your M4 with collapsible stock?

I have one of these. It’s pretty solid. Also in 36” https://www.firsttactical.com/collections/bags-gun-bags/products/rifle-sleeve-42-inch -
listed on gunbroker with a bid. No longer available through this ad.

I also have one for sale, purchased from Les. 115 tyd.
-
115 tyd. Need to drum up funds for another purchase.

I thought I saw someone post a link to some screws that could be used to fill them in too. They were from Brownells I think.
-
135 tyd
-
Actually let’s go 175 tyd

This is the first version that was put out. It has the 1” ring. I picked this up here last week and just got it today. I’ll probably regret it, but I decided to turn it back loose as the Arisaka mount for my LTT 1301 came in. I’m going to be using that for my HD gun for the foreseeable future with a TLR1-HL. $199 tyd. PayPal preferred but would also accept money order. I will ship USPS Priority mail.

I got my call from Marcy at Carrier Comp. my 7 round tube should be to me shortly. great write up.

Excellent ending! Glad they stepped up and did the right thing.

WOW, Awesome!

Yup, she sure looks purdy. I bought one of sonyman74’s SRO battery tools so I should technically have something to use it on.
-
The more I look at it, I’m really leaning towards the Scalarworks with a RMR or SRO.

My last range trip was several boxes of federal and Remington 1600fps 1oz slugs. Gobbled them right up. Recoil was very manageable in my opinion. I have a bunch of 1300fps federal truball low recoil loads to try next trip. I don’t think 1600fps is really considered hot, but more normal full power slug loads.

Yea, I would be upset. Pretty shotty craftsmanship for an $1,800+ shotgun, especially the pic from the side. After seeing yours I had to go look at mine, it doesn’t look like that.

Aimpoint T2 or CompM5 might be real nice on a Sync mount too but 8-850 bucks is a hefty price.
-
I have a green. I like it but as was said battery life is much less than the red. I was thinking about putting my mro on my M4, but I’m now thinking a Sync mount and maybe a SRO.

The DG color matches the grayish color of the barrel parkerizing. It is not black.

My reason was cost. If I’m gonna spend 275 on Briley trigger components I’m not going to put them in the factory polymer trigger housing I’d want them in an AS aluminum. $475ish for all of that vs $83 shipped for the forends. The factory trigger in mine is pretty good. that all being said I may eventually do the whole trigger pkg, but I also have a Langdon 1301 coming too so cant blow my wad on everything M4 right now.
