  1. It would appear to work very nice, thanks
  2. I like your gun case! How did you fit your M4 to it? It looks like the same case in your other post. Does it come with some sort of form fitting inserts???
  3. "Hell maybe the sound of me racking that first one might send them a-runnin'." Even if you've never seen or touched a shotgun before, the sound of the charging handle being jacked and then released will give anyone pause in the dark. It's the unmistakable sound of uh-oh!
  4. I have one very similar to this one. It's been on my "daily driver" so long I forget where it came from. Never a problem with it. I also like the looks of this one: https://www.rxarms.com/#h.p_03Hhox2MkREf It requires no machining, drilling, tapping or tools of any sort. Only $46 bucks If it's too good to be true then it probably is. Since it's a crappy day here in the socialist northeast and boredom had set in, I set my sights on making one. Needs a tad bit of refining but Ya know what, the darn thing works good. Just have to find something that's a better color match for my H2O. Took all of 20 or 30 minutes to make. Here are a few pics....................
  5. I've noticed several replies to this "benign" thread have been deleted.
  6. Just the remnants of a cheap old Davidson 16ga. I call it my Yosemite Sam relic. Those of you old enough to remember the Luney Tune cartoons (Bugs Bunny, Yosemite Sam, Wile E Coyote ect. ect.) years ago can relate.
  7. Yes he's offering some sort of resolution but, seems to me he should be dealing with his vendor (Briley), rather than passing it along so you can deal with it. My 2cents............Caveat Emptor.............
  8. Has anyone changed out the small factory bolt release assembly in favor of the oversize version and now has a factory assembly they would like to part with? I'd be happy to purchase it outright, or trade some 12ga. 00buck or slugs for it. Thanks
  9. I have a new in box Vortex Razor red dot 6.0 MOA to trade up or down +/- cash. I am seeking either a 2 round extension or a full 7 round magazine for a Benelli M4. Black or silver, titanium, steel or carbon fiber. Frankly I would prefer the 2round ext., but I'm not fussy. Will trade even, up or down plus or minus cash, what have you? Any help greatly apreciated.
  10. I'm old school and learned a long time ago that steel shot was just not good for your steel barrel. Steel on steel will wear a barrel out quickly (compared to lead). Anti gunners years ago decided one way to come after gun owners and shooting ranges was to claim lead shot was poisoning wetlands, the creatures that lived in those wetlands and clean water supplies. Hense, ammunition manufacturers under the threat of federal and state law suits started the production of steel shot. Which was, in the mind of the anti gunner, another crack in amendment #2. Under the guise of a clean environment, gun owners would now be limited to a type of ammo that would restrict the type of shot used at gun ranges and for hunting in some states. And of course the unintended consequence of the damage steel shot does to a barrel.
  11. Already have a few. Don't need any more tax stamps at the moment. This one's a lot of fun though....................
  12. It's a handy little bugger. It's adjustable a hundred different ways to Sunday. Bought it a few years ago and wish I had bought 2 or 3.
  13. What difference does it make "why"? We're still a free country...., kinda. Although I do understand the question, we are not all of like mind. There are as many reasons "why" as there are people. There is only one person I need to make happy and thats me, and I have my wife's permission to say so.
  14. Been here observing things and studying/following threads for about a year now. Finally joined up 2 or 3 months back. Would like to thank the members (too numerous to mention) for their willingness to share knowledge and info. Because of their willingness to share this knowledge and info, I have completed one of three M4 builds, nearly completed a second and a third is in the works. Here are a few pics of my projects. Maybe this thread could be a place for others to share their builds/projects in one spot for all to enjoy.
  15. Yup, this particular weapon has"CC" which apparently is code for 2008.
  16. Just curious but can the date of manufacture be determined by ser#?????????? I have receiver ser# Y020350..........
  17. Probably for the best with all the "drive by bayoneting" going on.
  18. I think the Benelli M4 is the first "US issued" combat shotgun since WW1, that was produced without a bayonet adapter. I wonder why the Marines chose not to add a bayonet adapter to the M4? It is also the first "US issued" combat shotgun that is not American made. Can you imagine the M4 with a bayonet?
  19. Real world or not, for home defense the M4 is hard to beat, and I kinda like the cosmetics of a properly dressed M4. I've been a scattergun guy all my life but if I have to beat feet out the door, I'm going to reach past the Benelli M4 and grab my other M4. It's a Colt w/seven and a half inch bbl, collapsible stock, Trijicon ACOG, night vision and a 3 round burst happy switch. Hell of a lot more fire power if you have to move. So I'm going to caress, fondle and enjoy my Benellis' and hope that ****storm never comes.
  20. I may be wrong here but, it seems to me any machinist could notch the receiver extensions with no trouble at all. I also think it would be far cheaper than the $1K +++ you'll pay for an adjustable stock.
  21. Looking to generate some cash for an M4 upgrade, I have a very rare holster for M1911 & 1911A1. This is an HH Heiser of Denver Colo. civilian model of the US Armies cavalry holster. Made in the early to mid 1930s'. Excellent condition, soft and supple. No cracks, tears or loose threads and completely serviceable. This holster will complement any gov. model that wears it. $220.00 delivered. This isn't cheap but it is very in-expensive. Postal money order or certified bank checks only, no anti-gun paypal.

  22. I'm old school also, but some of the toys/add-ons'/accessories are fun. That being said just remember, scatterguns serve a purpose and pin point accuracy ain't one of them . "Shotguns are like horseshoes and hand-grenades, you just gotta be close".
  23. There are currently somewhere between 9 & 12 collapsible stocks for sale on gunbroker starting at $800 bucks and they go up from there. No bids yet. As long as people keep paying those prices thats what these opportunist will keep asking. Maybe do some of your other upgrades first. But even some of those parts/prices are in the stratosphere. My 2cents
  24. OFFER HAS EXPIRED
