    Subject ., Benneli M4 handguards and factory rail..........Rev 1 So I swapped out my rail for a Scalarworks Sinc and was left with a rail looking for something to do. I picked up a set of handguards off epay, quite cheap actually and thats a good thing if this doesn't work. After about an hour of not so deep thought and labor (which was also not very intense), I came up with this., see pics. I intend to mount a forward pistolgrip/weapons light on it. Surefire M900 comes to mind if I can just find it. The rail is offset to one side because to center it would put the screw holes half on one side half on the other. Wouldn't work. I chose the left side because I normally shoot from the right side. I don't believe the slight offset to be a problem. The 4th pic is of the factory rail screws. One eighth in. long......For a good snug fit I need to find the same screws that are about a quarter in. long. Anyone have 5 they would part with??? Floor model drill press, set of drills, tap & die set and a center punch. I think it should work well with a longer set of screws, more bearing surface = a more ridged attachment. Time will tell, thoughts?

    I believe the RMR was initially a design for semi automatic handguns. Therefore, if it can handle that sort of recoil, there ain't a shotgun built that will have anything more than a negligible effect. Unless of course you have to use it as a club. IMHO.......

    no problems at all. Just remember, shotguns are like horseshoes and hand-grenades, you just have to be close to score.

    New to Benelli M4 guy here...There seem to be an abundance of model #'s. For example., 11701, 11707, 11713, 11721, 11727, 11794 and of course M1014. Could someone clarify the differences from model # to model # for me. Thanks, Alpha 33 over........................................

    Good day all. New guy here, so if I am out of bounds some how with this post please advise. 1st up is a "Docter" red dot with cover & mount for a Trijicon ACOG. For sale or trade. See pics. The sight and mount are in nearly new condition with the exception of the two attaching screws. The two Torx screw heads were buggered up to the point that a "slot" had to be cut into each (painstakingly I might add) for removal. Now, a flathead screw driver will work. The threads were never damaged just the screw heads. It's been piggybacking the top of my Trijicon ACOG long enough, time to move on. For the "Docter" red dot sight with mount I'm asking $275 bucks, or trade $$$ up or down for parts to upgrade my Benelli M4. Such as a 7 rd. mag tube & spring, an oversized charging handle, a good quality sling, ect., ect., ect...... Next up is a Vortex Razor red dot, untouched new in box. I bought it new last week after I gave up trying to find something else. Well guess what, I found that something else yesterday. $300 bucks or trade up or down for the same items listed above. If interested or if you have questions please respond via email if possible. Postal money orders or bank checks only. $15 Postage for either or both combined. F.Y.I., The last picture is the "Docter" mounted on my ACOG.
