    LE M4

It hasn't ended for me yet, I've added a Mesa tacticle stock w/riser and another blue force sling to the fixed stock M4 pictured above. It's a sickness. Almost forgot , also added a 7 round tube and 922R parts Jeesh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets not forget the transfer fee of $40 or $50 bucks............... Lets see, Taxes= $125 +/- Shipping= $50 +/- Transfer= $50 +/- $225 +/- = just to get it home........ Now the fun begins, getting your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Benelli upgrades, $$$$$ collapsible stock, $$$$$ 7 round mag tube, $$$$$ 922R parts, $$$$$ red dot sights, $$$$$ flashlight, $$$$$ sling and on and on and on. A daunting journey at best. Would I do it again? You're damn right.

Actually it's pretty slim pickings on GB for anything with a collapsible stock. There are only 2 or 3 listed under 3K, and those all have bids that will likely end over the 3K mark. There is one used "green" m4 w/collapsible stock and a 5 rd tube with no bids so far, and a buy it now price of $2500 bucks. Seems a tad high for a used piece no matter what color it is. There are a handful w/collapsible stocks priced over the 3K mark and several others way over the 3K mark. Appears that most of the examples with a collapsible stock have been bought up.
  4. I'm kinda partial to surefire..................
  5. Another happy owner and rightly so!
  6. I seriously doubt that.
  7. SOLD SOLD SOLD
  8. Durability should be fine unless you have to smash a dink over the head with it.
  9. The more I see the color of that stock the more I like it! It's a Mesa Tacticle right? I wonder if it's still in production? I would consider swapping out an adjustable for that. Or you could just make it simple an sell it to me.
  10. As long as you can locate the hole properly and open it to the correct size it should work fine.
  11. I understand, thanks for the ballpark.
  12. Maybe it's just the lighting, but I like the color of this one much more than that of the OP's.
  13. UPDATED LIST.............the two choke wrenches and the two bolt handles have been sold................... $45 bucks for whats left or individual pieces @ $5 bucks ea.................... $9 priority mail all or each. All pieces OEM takeoff's and sold as used.
  14. I'm thinking that color stock would look equally nice on a black frame.
  15. Damn I hate computers............... All parts, pieces and manuals I'd like to get $65 bucks for the lot or $5 per part plus postage. Priority mail small box is about $9 bucks nowadays so I'll run with that. Some of these parts may be interchangeable with other Benelli SG's , I don't know. My only interest is the M4. I'll take cash, check, money orders or "new" US postage stamps as payment. You'll look long and hard to find OEM Benelli parts priced this low. 1st come first serve based on time stamp. If interested please reply to my email or PM, not directly to this post
  16. I don't use any. The red loctite used at the factory is an overkill. Like using a shotgun to kill a house fly. The magazine cap is sufficient.
  17. Does anyone have a 922R compliant disconector for Benelli M4 they would sell? Or know where I could find one.
  18. OK....form 1, form 2, form 52, those numbers are irrelevant. Fact of the matter is, it's the receiver that's registered not the barrel. Try out your theory. Swap your 14" barrel back to 18", take it to a gun shop and offer to sell it to them. Agree on a price, then tell them, "oh by the way it's a registered SBS". I'm fairly certain they will kindly change their mind. I could be mistaken but I think not.
  19. I agree, you are free to bounce back and forth 14 to 18 to 14 and back. My point is that once registered as an SBS, the receiver will always be an SBS. All NFA rules, regulation and laws will forever follow that receiver. You cannot put the 18 back on and sell the weapon without a form 1 NFA tax stamp transfer.
  20. Maybe not, it's been a long time since my last stamp, but I still believe it to be true.
  21. Yes, If I recall correctly, that little tid bit of freedom lost is mentioned on the "SBR/SBS" application form itself.
  22. Frankly speaking, the average homeowner confronting a 2AM break in, half asleep and in a defensive posture, won't know the difference between 14" or 18", nor would it matter. One is no more or less effective than the other at 2AM. For the "grunt or jarhead" going door to door in an offensive posture, yeah the 14" is a plus. Then there is the NFA issue. Once you have registered your once 18" barreled M4 to a 14" barreled M4, it will forever be an NFA item. Simply put, you can't just swap the barrel back to 18" and hope to sell it to the local gun shop or gunbroker. It will have to go to a willing FFL class 2 or 3 sot. Having a 14" is mostly a status symbol for most of us, and yes, I have a small NFA stamp collection, and no, I probably would not go that route again. My 2 cents.........................
