  1. I happened to have 150 gift card balance collecting dust on Amazon. Looks like I’m trying out a crossfire.
  2. I would like to know the best of the affordable red dot options available. Having never used one it’s hard to justify the 700 for the T2 if I don’t know that I like it.
  3. The one coming on the gun looks the same, but you will notice it’s crimped or indented. This means you cannot load additional shells through it. The one you have coming youl move the spring cap to the end of that and be able to fit 2 more shells
  4. It’s normal. Hasn’t even come close to coming out and I use mine all the time. It’s loose enough I just use my finger to remove the pin when cleaning. Hasn’t caused me a bit of trouble so I’m not sure it’s something that needs fixed.
  5. Buck should be heavy enough that it will have no problems. I know the non defensive fiocchi are short as well, which means they fit 5 or 7 depending on what tube you have installed.
  6. Not sure why you wouldn’t. You have to remove the trigger to get the stock off the gun. Leave it off. No reason to heat that too.
  7. Yes metal spreads heat nicely and quickly. So by heating the front evenly your going to heat up the threads of where the tube sits and separate the loctite. By not heating the tube directly the tube does not expand with the heat and you can unscrew it easier. Don’t get me wrong it will be getting some heat, But the end you unscrew from won’t be nearly as hot. Neither of mine had much loctite in them. Both were purchased in 2021. Others have have had varying results.
  8. The heat did not alter the finish. Get an IR thermometer and a heat gun. Evenly heat the front of the receiver inside and out and around to 250 F. You’ll hear little crackling along the way. At 250+ you should be able to twist it off pretty easily unless you’re an unlucky one where they caked it on there real thick. Worked for me twice without issue. 10 minutes or so done.
  9. 2” at 21 yards 4” at 42 yards? Or did it got worse since the original post? Spread seems like it would be wide at that range but I’m not a hunter so what do I know.
  10. If you don’t mind my asking what is the price range?
  11. Put them on both my M4s. Very nice.
  12. All M4s that I know of other than the one single m1014 skeleton stock come with the 3 position recoil tube.
  13. Ammoseek.com will find you some bulk buys at good prices. Nobel sport has a nice low recoil 00 buck that I have had no problems with. It’s relatively cheap and rather well made.
  14. 22 plus shipping is excessive.
  15. Not promoting…but sounds like the same price your waiting on, and it’s in stock if your source is out it’s an option. $22 https://freedomfightertactical.com/products/benelli-oem-flexible-ring-70071?_pos=1&_sid=59ef71359&_ss=r
  16. I had some problems with an extended carrier doing the same thing… you got one of those on there?
  17. Also run like 2 or 3 hundred rounds of buck / slugs through it. That’s what it is made for so start with that. Bird shot runs clean through my older one now. Still breaking in the second.
  18. Hello, So I have the IWC light mount, and I was wondering what is the best light to get for it. Pretty sure the one I picked up has the rail optional as well so what ever works. I’m not inclined to use that if I don’t need to. also since I have never done this, I am wondering if the light I buy is going to have a way to be mounted included? I just see two holes or a rail. Something has to stick it to that. Is there something else that needs to be picked up or will it come with.
  19. Yeah, not as much loctite on mine. Not like you are describing anyway. Glad you got it done.
  20. Sounds like you were heating the tube as well? Heating the receiver I heard little clicks as the locktite was separating. But yeah, I’ve only done it once so what do I know. I’m sure results may vary
  21. I used a heat gun and a infrared thermometer. Heated the receiver evenly and gradually while checking the temp. At 250 degrees F I unscrewed and it came out. No smoke. Took about 10-15 minutes to get it to that temp.
  22. You don’t have parts to transfer inside your guns current tube?
  23. Quite the gem someone dug up from back in the day.
