  1. I too think everything you've described is normal and the gun is fine. Benelli may have slightly changed the specs on the adjustable stocks; the tolerances were so tight that they were hard to adjust. I certainly do not think it's dangerous.
  2. Cerekote the gun if you're concerned. Others may call me a heretic but I'm a beliverer in PERMANENT rust prevention and that will do the trick. Plus you get to pick a cool color. YOLO
  3. Yes it would but you'll have to make your own, shouldn't be to difficult.
  4. Wondering the same thing. I think it got axed because it turned into an insult contest. 😆
  5. I use Mobil 1 synthetic and ATF in a 50/50 mix. Its made to lube parts running far faster and hotter than my M4's ever will. It was maybe $6 or $8 each when I bought them 5 or 6 years ago and the half gallon will last my lifetime. I can however, pour a bit in a small bottle labeled "gun oil" and sell it for $25 for anyone who would like some!
  6. The muzzle should face the direction you intend to engage with. Not sure why you'd want to carry like you do but yes, the gun would likely flip so if you insist on carrying like that you should mount the QD on the right.
  7. IMO it depends on if you want to sling muzzle up or down. If you sling muzzle down with the QD on the left side you will be able to then rotate the gun to the front while still on your shoulder to quickly engage the target.
  8. There is this: https://nodrillcheekrest.com/ Or there are several strap on leather ones from Amazon, eBay, etc.
  9. I would swap the trigger housing for an A&S with a loading ramp . https://ansshotguns.com/product/enhanced-trigger-guard-benelli-m4/
  10. I plan on using kindness... and cocoa! Who doesn't love a steamy cup of hot chocolate! "Care for a crumpet Mr. Home Invader?"
  11. I read a retired judge said, in his 35 years on the bench, a shotgun was THE most fought over weapon in home invasions so I would not have my stock extended like in the video. I'd keep the barrel exposure to a minimum. It was very instructive though.
  12. Set chalk upright, shoot it, chalk explosion follows if you hit it.
  13. I would not want to be in that room!
  14. Sidewalk chalk, cheap, light to carry, obvious when hit and easy on the environment.
  15. Looks great just like that to me, like you smoked that gun!
  16. Or maybe it's an M-60 sling, lol
  17. I use a surplus M-243 sling, lots of padding, $20.
  18. Take another photo of the parts with a piece of paper showing your user name and the date on it.
  19. You did fine, the adjustable stock alone makes up for the price difference. It will give you many years of reliable service and enjoyment! Welcome to the club!
  20. My guess: 11713 assuming the 7 round mag tube is OEM. The adjustable stock is an add-on evidenced by the Benelli box so it originally came with the fixed stock. Source: https://www.benellile.com/shotguns/m4-tactical-shotguns
  21. A lot of people are into reloading shot shells on this forum. https://www.shotgunworld.com/
  22. Yes, you are right, my mistake. I usually catch stuff like that and edit it but not this time.
  23. It's not fun when you have to buy a special 3.5 mm wrench for one little operation like installing the sight but when you need it, you need it. I will note that FFT was selling that wrench for $25 IIRC. The EXACT SAME wrench was available for $9.99 on Amazon. If you're gonna do that to me I expect dinner and a movie at least.
  24. Yes he is a great guy, I did grant him visitation rights whenever he's down in Texas which sealed the deal. The np3 has a unique feel that is evident immediately; I liken it to touching a new teflon skillet. Not gonna be a safe queen though, it's a player.
  25. Thanks!
