tucker301 Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 DU Dinner earlier tonight. I think it's an M2 Field in camo. Not sure which pattern. I'll go and pick it up maybe on Thursday. There was free alcohol, so I'll know more when I see it again. Might go for a trade for a LH model. Quote
Duggan Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 DU? Where I come from, DU means only one thing. http://www.democraticunderground.com/ The thought of DU giving out guns is LOL Quote
tucker301 Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 Where I come from,... My condolences DU = Ducks Unlimited To be honest, I'm more of a Delta supporter, but it was two free tickets and there was nothing on TV, except some game show where the contestants were asked questions and then had to talk about something completely unrelated . Quote
SgtCathy Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Is DU some secret organization like the CIA? I'm pretty sure DU is not allowed in Massachusetts along with any other group that advocates the use of firearms. Quote
sonyman74 Posted October 16, 2008 Posted October 16, 2008 Well, now that I have the extra room( I never got back my Super Nove and AR-15) If your over stocked you could pass it my way. LOL Quote
tucker301 Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 That's a waist... No. This is a waist. Quote
tucker301 Posted October 16, 2008 Author Posted October 16, 2008 thats a big shutter. It takes a big shutter to make Sgt. Cathy shudder Quote
M1014 Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 lets see a pic of the new Benelli,,I'm totally jelly Quote
tucker301 Posted October 17, 2008 Author Posted October 17, 2008 Didn't get a chance to pick it up today. It's a bit ridiculous that I had my hands on it last night, yet I now have to drive 65 miles one way to seal the deal. I'll go for it tomorrow. Quote
Duggan Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 Speaking of which, check out the ridiculous story that pic came from http://advocacy.britannica.com/blog/advocacy/2008/03/the-canadian-blood-festival-resumes/ So because something is cute and fuzzy, and it's blood shows up clearly on the white snow, it's wrong and cruel to hunt it. Unbelievable. Quote
tucker301 Posted October 17, 2008 Author Posted October 17, 2008 Reminds me of one of my favorite jokes. A baby seal walks into a club.... Quote
TMAC Posted October 17, 2008 Posted October 17, 2008 lucky guy. Our local DU baquet only gave out Stoeger P350's for the door prize and the raffle was an M2000, good to sell but not to keep. Quote
Matt D Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 Nice addition to the colection. If I recall, Tucker you are a lefty. Are you going to have the safety switched to left? Quote
tucker301 Posted October 19, 2008 Author Posted October 19, 2008 I am a lefty, and I already have a SBEII. The M2 is now officially for sale. http://www.benelliusa.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16874 Quote
shotgunNoob Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Lucky SOB. The only thing I have ever won is a free order of fries. Quote
SgtCathy Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Wow, an excellant door prize! I'm told by a very high ranking official in the state government of Massachusetts, that's it's perfectly legal to give away that sharp looking gun case, provided none of the contents are included and that you are in possession of a large capacity class "A" permit because the case "implies" the possible ownership of a firearm. However, free french fries are allowed with proof of sales tax paid and provided the gift is reported on the state income tax form. Quote
tucker301 Posted October 21, 2008 Author Posted October 21, 2008 I thought you had to have a special permit in Mass. just to look at the pictures Quote
