jc-1969
Looking for pictures of a Benelli M4, 2 port barrel and 4 port barrel. I will be purchasing a Benelli M4 and want to be certain that it is a 2 port barrel gun but I am not sure what exactly to look for. Seeing pictures of both will help greatly any pictures and detailed information will be appreciated. Thank You, Jason
texas skeeter
if you look down the barrel and see 2 holes in the barrel wall near the breach, its a 2 port. and obviously 4 holes means a 4 port. hope this helps, TS

texas skeeter
actually with a barrel flashlight, you dont need to remove the barrel.
cody6.0
If the barrel is decently clean if you lock the bolt back you can look down the barrel and see the ports.
StrangerDanger
Don't be "that guy". Remove the barrel. Don't look down the barrel with a light in the receiver. Also, the seating ring on the barrel that pushes up against the receiver is more pronounced on a 11707. The tang on the very back of the barrel is more pronounced on the 11707 models. Sammy
If you purchase a 4-port model, Benelli will replace the barrel for free. When I purchased my M4LE and found out about the barrel porting issue, I sent the shotgun back and they returned it with a new barrel. SAMMY!
