tucker301
No. California sprays stuff into the air that makes it so you can't tighten the screws.

BM4robbins
Good question. I wish I knew for sure. When you added the words California, it became a riddle, tied to a snare, placed on quicksand... I tried researching this one. Got complicated quick. Is it a pump or semi-auto? Might not matter, like I said, gets complicated. Simple fix (best) is to contact a firearms friendly LEO and ask him who HE would ask regarding your jurisdiction. California county lines are like trap doors. Please let us know what you find and who was most helpful in finding accurate info.

SgtCathy
Adding forward grips in Massachusetts is perfectly legal, provided the grips are made out of 1/16th inch frangible glass and attached with paper paste (the minty flavor).

duckht183
Yes, as long as it's classified as a home defense gun with a barrel no shorter than 18.5 inches.
Super33
If you live in California and you would like to do something to make your gun more comfortable than... NO you can't do it. If you'd like to use your common sense in California regarding guns and gun ownership then you're gonna find yourself in some trouble in the near future. In regards to guns and California, whatever puts a smile on your face is illegal and dangerous to the public, no matter what that may be. If you're in California and you ask yourself, "WTF?" than it is probably true.
