Can't believe that was on TV. So is it a bad idea? I don't know. For well-trained people, like I suspect and hope a good number of folks on this forum are, it's probably fine. For an idiot to possess something like that.....bad news for all of us. My $.02

I would think if you have the bed against a wall,the mount would be between the bed and the wall.

FWIW,when I was a kid I was taught not to go snooping in my parents bedroom,as I was taught that guns werent toys to play with,and if it wasnt mine I wasnt to be touching anything that didnt belong to me.

My guards would be raiders. The centurians might want an "oil" break just when I needed them most. And don't forget, in Taxxachusetts, to install your required child safety trigger lock. I've read in many articles that thiefs always check your bed for firearms or valuables first. A few guys that I know hide their rifles and shotguns in a secret place that nobody can find and still have instant access to them (corner wall in bedroom closet) :eek:
