  1. with that price - no case for the Nova .. you CAN purchase the Benelli cases tho.
  2. MDgoosehunter - Did you happen to pick the gun up and work the safety before you purchased it?? .. I've shot 3 different guns from three different geographic areas and I didn't notice a thing wrong with the safetys ... maybe just me and the guns I shot but they all seemed crisp and positive....

    M2 short recoil pad

Camo - I suppose you expect a Snap-On ratchet driver and a gun boy too .... heck why not gold plate the thing while you're at it !?!? IT'S A TUBE WRENCH!! flat, compact and, *SIMPLE* ... the way it should be. I can't believe some guys have even the thought of complaining after the purchase ... I don't get it!?! did you not know what you're buying?? I suppose the fact that for @ $1,200 the plastic hard case it comes with is totally unacceptable too... ...and people wonder why some animals eat their young.... M2 short recoil pad

X-5 - The choke wrench shoulda' been included ... get ahold of the place where you purchased the gun and have them get one for you ... or save yourself the hassle and pick one up ... the thinner recoil pad is an 'option' ... you're going to have to flip for that on your own ... I'd try brownells first. good luck [ 06-17-2004, 07:04 AM: Message edited by: birddog ]

  11. when I recieved my first brand new company truck (an F-250 with an MSRP @ $34,000 8yrs ago) my boss came up to me and asked if he could use a hammer ... so I went into the rear cab and wrestled up a hammer - being totaly careful of my new baby. I then walked to the back of the truck and handed the hammer to him. He smiled and said, "thanx this will only take a second.", then turned to the truck and with a half cocked swing, gave the top of the tail gate a whack. Which he then looked at me and said..." There!! Now don't worry about it!!". Then threw the hammer in the bed and walked away ............ [ 06-12-2004, 01:48 AM: Message edited by: birddog ]

    Nova Sight

it's threaded on .. no clue on the brand if its not made by Benelli -or- made for Benelli. I'd almost bet it's ordered out of house tho. something tells me you lost the plastic insert.
  17. If its metal coat it lightly. - over lubricating a gun is disaster waiting to happen. It will foul-up 10x's faster if its slathered in lube or even has a heavy coat on it. If it looks dirty clean it ...if it doesn't ...clean it anyways. Then oil it down and wipe or use compressed air to remove excess oil on the parts like the trigger assembly.
  18. benellishooter - is there a benelli sticker on the box end with: Item Part ||||||||||| bar code|||||| 00000 x0000000 ?? - if so the model # is the 1st number under the bar code. ... ... anyways - I have to agree with mudhen here ... [ 06-01-2004, 07:06 PM: Message edited by: birddog ]

hey man ... M1014 on left ...other two are twins -interchangeable M1 bolts ..... next ...
  20. BenelliShooter - pretty self explanitory bud. 1. Fill out the boxes: -model number (i.e. - Super Black Eagle II..etc.) -serial number -purchase date 2. Purchasers name and address: -who bought the gun 3.Warranty assigned to (if different than purchaser): -fill this out if responsibility of care and maintainance is going to be given to someone other than the purchaser. 4. Dealer's name and address: -where the gun was purchased -- the multiple choice questions are basically marketing questions that they use to get an understanding (demographicaly) of their customers. Filling this out has no effect on your registration/warranty it just aids the company in better understanding their customers. -- after it's all filled out throw a stamp on the opposite side, fold it, tape it closed, then throw it in the mail box ... *Done* [ 05-30-2004, 01:12 PM: Message edited by: birddog ]
