  1. I wouldn't give $800 for a 4 yr. old. Look around on these websites for a better deal. gunbroker.com auctionarms.com gunsamerica.com Buying a gun 'online' is easier than you may have thought is is. Gunbroker gives links to FFL's in your area who will do the transfer for you. I saw a New DU edition on there for $875.
  2. No LH sluggers yet. Benelli is to be commended for the job they do with LH offerings, but it sure would be nice if they expanded it even more to include items such as that.
  3. Some "salesman". That's a moronic statement at best. Find a dealer who knows his product.
  4. Thanks for saying. But it's easy to recommend a top-notch product. Glad you're happy with it.

  6. Welcome to turkey hunting. If this spot is yours alone, and you have somewhere else to go, give it a day's rest. If this spot is hunted by others or if it's your only spot, then get it while it's hot. Turkeys are not smart creatures. Add mating season and they just get dumber, just like us
  7. I don' think the gun will come with the raised comb pad, just the standard. The dealer must have either not understood you or didn't know a raised comb was available as a separate part.
  8. Mine was free. I complained that the origial was ill-fitting, so they offered a free replacement. I said I needed a shorter LOP, so she said she'd make my replacement pad the short one.
  9. Brad, There are many knowledgeable folks here, and I'm sure someone will give you some good information. May I also suggest posting your questions to the forums over at shotgunworld.com. They have a reloading forum as well as several for skeet and trap shooting.

    Benelli K2!

    Cute scooter. Wrong forum.
  11. Please do! I LOVE junk mail! Also, if you have any porn, that would be great. Address it to, "The Chief". That's what they like to call me.
  12. If I shot more clays than game, the Cordoba. The Cordoba's porting can deafen blind mates, but it would be fine in a dove field or on the range. If I shot more game than clays, the M2. More options, more barrells, more accessories, built to hunt. I also prefer the shorter forearm of the M2 and SBE. [ 04-02-2005, 05:48 PM: Message edited by: tucker301 ]

Call Benelli customer service on Monday and ask them to help. Extra barrells have been advertised for some time, but I don't think they're available in any numbers if at all.
  14. The stock retaining plate on the SBEII's is reversible and the hole in the center is offset. Flipping it over gives the desired change in cast. I'm not sure, but I think Brownells may be able to help you. 1-800-741-0015 www.brownells.com
  15. Thanks cherok, but I'm not an employee. They couldn't afford me

    SBE Saftey

Amen to that! If that had been a Nova or R1, you would have been up half the night trying to get it back together. I shot LH safety converted righties for years. When I got my SBE2 LH, it actually felt awkward for a while.
  17. So I noticed. But that wasn't what got deleted. I posted an April Fool's item about Benelli's plant burning down and how they'd fall behind Mossberg in the race to be the best

Remove the trigger assembly from the receiver. Drive out the pin (012A). Be careful, the parts under the pin are springloaded and will fly out when the pin is removed. Cup your hand over the hole to catch them. The spring (007A) and detent (008A) should fall right out now. This will free the crossbolt safety (013J) for easy removal. Reverse the safety, reinsert the detent and spring. Depress ths spring below the hole for the pin and reinsert the pin. Test thoroughly before loading!
  19. DJ, Did the flight control pattern much better than standard loads?
  20. Good choice for a pump. If you're interested in a semi-auto for just a few dollars more, look at the Stoeger 2000. Happy Hunting.
  21. Yup. That's one of the reasons I haven't scratched that itch yet.
  22. The mods are not in good humor today
  23. I can't imagine the wad blowing through cardboard at that distance, but I suppose it's possible. I'd shoot heavier cardboard and see if I get stuck wad. I've been itching to try those new loads.

  25. See the post by Golden Bear in this thread. http://www.benelliusa.com/forums/ultimatebb.php/topic/1/1496.html#000000 Certainly, adding an additional pad to the existing gel pad would have to increase the LOP. Do not use more than one shim.
